There is finally a way to enjoy the beautiful art coming out of Hudson on a more regular basis and we wanted to be sure our Facebook fans knew about it! This Friday will be the inaugural Hudson Art Hop- which will be a recurring event in Hudson the 2nd Friday of each month. Artists will have their art on display and studios open 2 evenings per month to showcase their work. In addition to the live art, there will be entertainment in some locations as well as refreshments. Although this is not a "HeART of Hudson" event, we certainly wanted to support these wonderful artists and encourage you to go check out their inspiring studios too! To learn more, visit:

Congratulations to Natalie Stiles and Kathryn Hassler on being awarded the HeART of Hudson scholarships last night at the Hudson High School awards ceremony. Both girls will be continuing their education after high school in the arts.

If you're looking for something fun to do with mom this Mother's Day weekend- visit Hudson's Open Studio Art Hop this Saturday from 4-9pm in Hudson. HeART of Hudson curator, Shannon Casey, is teaming up with several other studios in town and they will all be featuring fresh art, refreshments and last-minute gifts for mom.

Shannon's studio is at 70 W. Streetsboro St., Suite 105 (between Noble House and Dairy Queen -- just look for the Storage Zone sign.) Support local artists and get a great mother's day gift for mom!

Explore your inner artist this Saturday as Hudson artists are going to be opening their studios and work spaces to offer some great classes that are open to the public! Classes are listed and prices are very reasonable! What a way to make use of a cold and snowy January day- with a little art and inspiration! (Several artists from the art walk- including our talented curator, Shannon Casey, will be teaching)!

AUCTION NOTICE! We are auctioning Todd V's painting of the clocktower from last Thursday's HeART of Hudson event. The painting was created live at the event. It is actually painted on a door so you can add hinges and use it as such, if wanted. Otherwise, it could be hung.

Bidding starts at $150. Please bid in $25 increments by adding a comment below or sending a private message and HOH will bid on your behalf. The auction will begin as soon as this photo posts and will end on OCTOBER 22nd at 9pm EST.

A bid is a legal contract. You will be contacted upon winning and will be obliged to provide payment information to HOH by October 24th at 9pm EST. Preferred payment will be by check.
