The New Hampshire Employment Security (NHES) and Lakes Region Community College (LRCC) in partnership with the NH Department of Energy, are launching an exciting workforce and business development initiative designed to help contractors grow and capitalize on New Hampshire's expanding energy efficiency market.

If you are an HVAC, electrical, or weatherization contractor looking to expand your business, this is a valuable opportunity to gain insights, resources, and connections that can help position your company for future growth.

The Training for Residential Energy Contractors (TREC) Program connects HVAC, electrical, and weatherization contractors with free training opportunities, workforce development resources, and funding support to help businesses expand their services and workforce capacity.

As New Hampshire prepares for the rollout of the Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR) and HOMES rebate programs, contractors who are trained and prepared will be well-positioned to meet growing consumer demand and access new business opportunities.

To introduce the program, LRCC is hosting a series of five complimentary Lunch & Learn sessions across the state.

These events provide an excellent opportunity to:
• Learn about available workforce training programs
• Explore grant funding opportunities for your business
• Understand upcoming HEAR and HOMES rebate programs
• Network with fellow contractors and industry professionals
• Discover strategies to grow and scale your business

🎉 Congratulations to Chamber Board Member Tim Malley! 🎉

✨The Greater Hudson Chamber of Commerce is proud to celebrate Tim Malley, of T.J. Malley Electric, Inc. on being named the 2026 Community Citizen of the Year by the Hudson Grange #11 on June 9th.

As a longtime Hudson resident, dedicated small business owner, and passionate community leader, Tim exemplifies what it means to serve others. Whether through his role on the Greater Hudson Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, as Chairman of the Hudson Planning Board, or as the driving force behind the success of Hudson Old Home Days, Tim consistently goes above and beyond to strengthen our community.

Known for being the first to volunteer, the first to arrive, and the last to leave, Tim's leadership, dedication, and willingness to help wherever needed have touched countless lives. From coordinating community events and supporting local businesses to bringing neighbors together, his contributions have made a lasting impact on Hudson.

This recognition is a testament to the countless hours, hard work, and heart that Tim invests in making our town a better place for everyone.

👏 Community Collaboration in Action! 👏

The Greater Hudson Chamber Of Commerce is proud to highlight an outstanding partnership between The Palmer Center at Alvirne High School and our member, Habitat for Humanity Greater Nashua Manchester with supplies supported by member, Hudson True Value.

Students in the Woodworking and Construction programs are hard at work creating playhouse kits for the 2026 Habitat Playhouse Project, providing hands-on learning while making a meaningful impact for local children and families. These playhouses will be assembled by corporate volunteer teams, like St. Mary's Bank and others, and ultimately gifted to children throughout our community. 🏡🔨

This exciting collaboration showcases the incredible talent, dedication, and community spirit of our Career and Technical Education (CTE) students. By applying their skills to real-world projects, these students are helping build brighter futures while strengthening connections between education, nonprofits, and local businesses.

📅 Habitat Playhouse Project 2026
📍 The Hampshire Dome, 34 Emerson Road, Milford, NH
🗓 Thursday, June 18, 2026
👀 Public Viewing: 4:00 PM – 4:30 PM

We encourage our community to stop by and see these one-of-a-kind playhouses before they head to their new homes!

A huge thank you to the students, instructors, and Habitat for Humanity Greater Nashua-Manchester and local businesses for demonstrating the power of collaboration and community engagement. Together, you're building much more than playhouses—you’re building opportunities, confidence, and lasting memories. ❤️
