As the new school year approaches this week, it is time to remind yourself, whether a student, parent/guardian or educator that your mental health and wellness matters.

It is important to take time for yourself, even when you’re busy or it feels like there aren’t enough minutes in the day. What self-care looks like will be different for everyone.

For some, it may mean checking in with yourself to make sure you have everything together for the week. For others, it could mean teachers making sure lesson plans are ready, or parents making sure lunches are packed and transportation is covered.

So remember, whether today or tomorrow, take a pause and check in with yourself.

Recovery is transforming lives in every community.

National Recovery Month is an opportunity to celebrate that progress, recognize the people who make recovery possible, and invite everyone to be part of building spaces where recovery can happen.

This month, we also remember those we have lost to substance use and recognize the importance of creating greater awareness and opening the door to conversations. Sometimes, support starts with something as simple as asking, listening, and being there.

So this Recovery month with every conversation, every connection, and every action let's move forward in breaking down the stigma surrounding recovery.

This Friday, we’ll be announcing the fresh ingredients from our Wellness Garden that will be featured at our Cultivating Community Fundraiser Dinner at Seasoned.

Our garden-grown ingredients will be transformed into a delicious meal by the talented culinary students at SUNY Adirondack, bringing together gardening, mental health, and community support.

For us, the Wellness Garden is more than a place to grow fresh produce. It creates opportunities for connection, purpose, and wellness. This partnership with Seasoned and SUNY Adirondack extends that impact by bringing people together around good food and a shared mission.

Join us October 1 at Seasoned as we cultivate community, one plate at a time.

Tickets are available now, each $80.00. Deadline for purchasing tickets is Thursday, September 18th.

Our clinicians at Caleo Counseling were inspired to give back this back-to-school season.

As a team, they came together to collect and purchase back-to-school items to help make the start of a new school year a little brighter.

It’s a simple reminder that support can extend beyond the counseling room. We’re grateful to our Caleo Counseling team for finding a meaningful way to give back and show up for the youth they serve.

Just a reminder that Comfort Food Community's Free Food Run is back tomorrow!

Stop by our location at 50 Cooper Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801 from 10:45AM to 11:15AM.

Food access is about more than having something to eat. When someone is worried about where their next meal will come from, especially while navigating challenges like rising costs, affordability, or financial hardship, that uncertainty can add stress and become another weight they carry every day.

Having reliable access to food and other basic resources can help ease some of that burden, providing stability and support along the way. When basic needs are supported, it can also play an important role in supporting your overall mental health and wellness.

The Free Food Run will be making stops at additional locations throughout Warren, Washington, and Saratoga Counties.
