Clocks fell back an hour last night. ⏰

Your greyhound did not get the memo. 🐾

Supper will still be expected at the usual time, which is now an hour earlier. Good luck out there. 😂

How is your hound handling the time change? Tell us in the comments! 👇

🐾🎉 BIG NEWS! THE GREYHOUND GALA HAS A NEW HOME! 🎉🐾

New location. New date. And some exciting new possibilities!

We're thrilled to announce that the 2027 GPA-Wisconsin Greyhound Gala is moving to the Daybreak Building at Jefferson County Fair Park!

With rising costs at our previous venue, we knew it was time to explore a new home for our favorite greyhound gathering. And we're excited about what this new location has to offer!

📅 Saturday, October 16, 2027
⏰ 11 AM – 3 PM
📍 Daybreak Building | Jefferson County Fair Park

Here's a little sneak peek at what's in store:

🚚 Food trucks for some tasty eats!

🌳 Picnic areas to relax and enjoy the day.

🏕️ Camping options for those who want to make a weekend of it!

🎃 And did someone say HALLOWEEN?!

With the Gala happening just two weeks before Halloween, we're dreaming up some extra spooky (and adorable!) fun. Think greyhounds in costumes, Halloween festivities, and maybe even a costume parade for the hounds! 👻🐕

We're just getting started, and there's plenty more to share in the coming months!

❤️ Same love for greyhounds. New place to celebrate them!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS and help us spread the word!

Trick-or-treat night is almost here! 🎃 Before the doorbell starts ringing, a few quick reminders to keep your hound safe:

🚪 Keep your greyhound in a quiet room away from the front door
🏷️ Double-check that collars and ID tags are on
🍫 Keep candy bowls up high and out of reach
👻 Skip the costume if your hound isn’t a fan

Featured Hound: Meet Theo! 🐾

This 5-year-old traded the Land Down Under for the Badger State, and he’s ready to start his next chapter. Theo is small dog workable, but a cat-free home is a must.

He’s hoping to find a cozy spot to call his own and a family who will make him feel right at home. 💙
