GREYHOUND ROSIE NAPPING ON SOFA AT HOME
(update 2, 11:10am)
Rosie's adopter promptly picked her up from the finder and all is well back at home.
Rosie traveled only a couple blocks, and the time elapsed from the original call to the report someone had her was only 26 minutes -- but we never know if a case will last 26 minutes or 26 weeks and therefore jump right on all of them.
Great job by the adopter for having a collar/tag on the dog and calling right away. These things can happen -- that's why we have a hotline -- and over the years many dozens (or hundreds?) people have come running to the aid for a fellow adopter and dog. Emma and Leslie checked in within minutes today, just the first two reminders of our great community.
Back to the weekend -- thanks, all!
(update 1, 9:40am)
Someone in the neighborhood found ROSIE, leashed her, and called us. Adopter en route to pick up.
