The Elk County Community Foundation (ECCF) announces that Brandi Mast, Associate Director, has resigned from her position. We are grateful for Brandi's dedication and service to the Foundation and the Elk County community, and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors.

During this transition period, the Elk County Community Foundation will continue to operate under the leadership of its local Advisory Board with support from the Central Kansas Community Foundation (CKCF) staff team.

On Tuesday, July 28th, our Associate Director joined her fellow Kansas Association of Community Foundation (KACF) board members in Manhattan for a full day of strategic planning and creating a vision for KACF's future.
At the Elk County Community Foundation, we are so grateful to KACF for their ongoing trainings, networking opportunities and support that are helping us grow our small community foundation into something truly great!

Ok Elk County! 📣 Our office walls are looking a little sad and bare, and we need YOUR help to bring them to life!

We want to transform our building into a celebration of all things Elk County, and we are looking for local pieces to put on display:

🏛️ Historical artifacts on loan from local museums or historical societies.

📸 Framed photography showcasing the beauty of our area, taken by our very own talented residents.

🎨 Artwork and crafts from local kids, youth groups, or schools.

Big shout out to Elk Valley USD 283 and our newest board member, Linda Adams, for hosting our June board meeting. We enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by Linda, while we celebrated our recent match month and looked ahead to what's next for ECCF. Next month, we'll be meeting in Severy at the Harvest House Food Pantry!
