We have an amazing volunteer crew getting ready to harvest hundreds of hydroponic plants for Sparrow’s Nest.

We believe in giving our recipients the freshest food we can find, so when we were asked if we wanted this blessing- you better believe I jumped on it!

THANK YOU EVERYONE! WE HAD A BUNCH OF PEOPLE STEP UP AND WE NOW HAVE ENOUGH DRIVERS FOR A FEW MONTHS!

We are in urgent need of volunteer drivers for Dutchess County.

With our latest mission expansion we have as many as 50 new people coming on each week.

If you can give us 2-3 hours on Tuesday mornings to pick up homemade meals at Sparrow’s Nest, we have a few routes we need to assign.

We are preparing for next week’s big delivery for back to school. Applesauce and yogurts, granola bars and chips. Fruits and veggies.

Today’s Poker Run with 101.5 WPDH was cancelled today due to weather conditions. Though the sun is expected to come out this afternoon, it’s still raining in Hopewell Junction.

For the safety of all riders, we couldn’t in good faith hold the run….but are hoping to create a big committee to bring it to the Hudson Valley in full force next year.

Anyone who pre-registered will be given a refund tomorrow.

Sadly, we are canceling tomorrow’s motorcycle poker run with 101.5 WPDH.

We have been monitoring the weather and with moderate rain and possible thunderstorms expected until noon, we can not safely hold the event.

If you pre-registered, please look for an email from us regarding your refund.

We are hoping to get something on the books for next year and would love anyone interested in being on the committee to reach out.

Happy National Non-For-Profit-Day.
Thank you for being great volunteers, donors, and just overall great people.

Both Chauntel and Micah are away this week so, dinners look like this…. Two potatoes that look like snowmen. I can’t focus people. Thank you Sunny Vale Farm

We made Philly cheesesteak this week and Kielbasa with potatoes and onions. Had lots of produce to distribute and managed to cut thousands of pounds of veggies to give to the more than 350 people we feed.

…….it’s our first full week with an expanded mission due to treatment add-ons and our first herb clipping in our own garden.

We are appreciative to have an amazing community always ready to show up and help out!
