God keep your hand on him ....

This is not a knock on no one. But I left thinking from our Ministerial/Leadership Class. Last night was the final night of a 3 Part Series of T.T.. The 1st Part of T.T. was Transformative Theology. In class Dr. Bishop Dean taught us that the Word of God is to bring transformation in every Christian life. 2nd Part Transitional Theology was taught to us. That the Word of God is to cause a move, to go from one place to another that God tells us to go. Just as he did Abraham in Gen. 12:1. But last night, Part 3 Transfigurative Theology messed me up. I learned that God wants to cloth us in His Glory, so others can see the change, the glory of God upon us. In Matt. 17:1-4, Jesus was transfigured before Peter, John and James. They saw the Glory of God upon Jesus. After class, I pondered over everything that we learned in 3 weeks. As Dr. Bishop Dean stated this what the church’s responsibility is to get every person, every man, every woman, everyone that has accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior to preach these 3 Theologies. Because if we are not preaching this to get the people of God ready to stand before God. We, as leaders become like a sounding brass and a tinkling cymbal. We are just making a whole lot of noise. I thank the Lord for the wisdom, knowledge and understanding that He has bestowed upon our Bishop of Divine Truth Empowerment Center. I will not find nor hear sound teachings like this. Thank you Heavenly Father for teaching Your servant that he may teach your people what You desire for us. For our heart and mind to be transformed and not conformed to this world. For us to leave our comfort zone and go to a place where You can reveal Yourself to us. And for us to be clothed in Your Glory, for our sowed fig leaves are not going to cut it. Hallelujah to the All Wise and Mighty Father.
