We’re doing it again, just in time for back-to-school! ✏️📚 Join us for our next Open Closet, where families can shop completely FREE for gently used clothing, shoes, and household items for the whole family.

When we first launched this initiative, we committed to providing 40 children living in domestic violence shelters with brand-new school uniforms and sneakers.

Since then, another shelter reached out for help.

Today, that number has grown to 94 children living in domestic violence and homeless shelters throughout Miami-Dade County.

We could have said no. Instead, we chose to trust God and believe that our community would step up.

Every child’s sizes have already been collected through the shelter social workers, allowing us to purchase the exact uniforms and shoes they need for the school they’ll be attending. This isn’t about giving random clothing, it’s about giving each child the confidence to walk into their classroom feeling prepared, valued, and loved. Will you help us make that happen?

Whether you help one child or many, your generosity will have a lasting impact on a child who has already faced more challenges than most. Together, let’s show these 94 children that they are not alone.

Right now, 40 children living in domestic violence shelters throughout Miami-Dade County are counting on our community. ❤️

Many of these children have had to leave everything behind to escape unsafe situations. As they prepare for a new school year, something as simple as a new school uniform and a new pair of sneakers can restore confidence, dignity, and hope.

Closet of Living Hope is working directly with the social workers at each shelter to ensure every child receives exactly what they need. We have collected each child’s clothing sizes, shoe size, school, grade level, and uniform requirements so we can purchase the correct uniforms for the school they will be attending.

We have committed to providing every child with brand-new school uniforms and brand-new sneakers, but we can’t do it without your help.

Here’s how you can make a difference:

👕 Purchase school uniform items from our Amazon Wish List and have them shipped directly to us.

👟 Make a monetary donation to help us purchase brand-new sneakers. Through our partnership with Nike, we’re able to purchase the children’s shoes at a discounted price, allowing every dollar you give to help even more.

Every donation, no matter the size, reminds these children that they are loved, valued, and not forgotten. Together, we can help 40 children walk into their classrooms feeling prepared, confident, and ready to succeed.

At our first Benefit Dinner this past Saturday, we shared this testimony. Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, many of our guests weren’t able to hear it. We couldn’t let this story go untold.

At Closet of Living Hope, we believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and love. Over time, we’ve had the privilege of walking alongside Ray, providing clothing, shoes, food, encouragement, and even temporary employment.

His story is not about hardship. It’s about hope. It’s a reminder that when a community chooses to care, it truly makes a difference.

To every volunteer, donor, sponsor, and supporter who has stood beside us, thank you. You are part of stories like this every single day.

May this testimony encourage you as much as it has encouraged us, and may it remind us all that even the smallest act of kindness can become the beginning of someone’s new chapter. ❤️

Today, as we celebrate 250 years of our nation’s history, we thank God for the freedoms we enjoy, honor those who have sacrificed to protect them, and pray for our country and its future.

We are also grateful for the freedom to serve our community with dignity and hope. Thank you to every volunteer, donor, and supporter who makes that possible. Because of you, lives are being impacted every day.

May this Independence Day remind us to love our neighbors, care for those in need, and be a light in our communities.

Local nonprofits, businesses, community leaders, and volunteers have united for one shared mission, to bring hope and much needed relief to families in Venezuela. Now, we’re asking our community to join us.

We’ve made giving as simple as possible. Just load your donation into your vehicle, drive through our collection site, and our volunteers will unload everything for you.

You don’t have to step out of your car at all! It’s a quick, easy way to make a difference.

Thank you to all of our incredible partner organizations for working together to make this effort possible. Collaboration is powerful, but it’s our community’s generosity that will make the greatest impact.

Today, our founder spoke at the Kiwanis Club meeting about our mission and why it matters to this community. ❤️

There’s something special about standing in a room with people who show up, again and again, for others. We left feeling encouraged and looking forward even more to our upcoming benefit dinner, where we’ll be celebrating not just our mission, but two other wonderful organizations doing great work alongside us - Young Dreams Co. and OneWorld.OneHeart.Org ❤️
