Happy Birthday to one of our incredibly dedicated Board of Directors, Lupi! 🥳

Today we are celebrating one of the most devoted members of the Closet of Living Hope family. As a member of our Board of Directors and a dedicated volunteer, she gives her time and heart to this mission in ways that most people never see and that is exactly how she likes it. She serves for an audience of One. 🙏

If you have ever called us, you know her voice. She’s that welcoming and always ready to help voice that instantly makes you feel like you are in good hands. She coordinates appointments and works behind the scenes, not for recognition, but because our mission and the people we serve matter to her.

She never seeks the spotlight. She never asks for praise. She simply shows up and pours everything she has into this mission and the people it serves. We are beyond blessed to have her leading alongside us.

Lupi, on your birthday we just want you to know how seen, valued, and loved you are. Closet of Living Hope is truly better because of YOU. ❤️ Happy Birthday beautiful! May today feel like all the love you give every single day coming right back to you! God bless you.

We haven’t posted about our Cuba mission in a while, but please know we never stopped showing up. Every month, help continues to make its way to the island. This month, God led us to this precious family in a small rural community called Dolores, in Caibarien, Cuba that has left a permanent mark on our hearts.

Meet a young mama, just 28 years old, caring for her three small children and her husband, who is bedridden and depends on her completely all while living in what was once a chicken coop, converted into a home because it was what they had. And a portion of it has no roof.

Through the grace of God and our partnership with La Purísima Concepción Catholic Church in Caibarien, we were able to deliver adult diapers, socks, shoes, clothing, and canned food to this precious family. It wasn’t much, but to them it was everything.

Now we want to do more. 🙏 We are committed to getting this family a complete roof over their heads and we need your help to do it. If you feel led to be part of this, please send us a DM. Whether it’s a donation toward the roof, canned food, or other essentials for this mama who gives so much and has so little. Every dollar. Every can. Every prayer. It all matters.

We are celebrating Eileen today and we could not be more excited! 🎂🎉🥳

As our Treasurer and Director, Eileen is the backbone of so much of what we do here at Closet of Living Hope. And she does it all as a volunteer, someone who already has a full-time job, a husband, and children at home.

Yet here she is. Faithful. Consistent. Present. Eileen, we celebrate you today not just for what you do, but for who you are. Happy Birthday! We pray God returns to you everything you have so generously sown into this ministry and into the lives of others. We love you!!! 🙏❤️

Come find us at the Miami Dade County Fair Expo Center with our mobile shopping experience, serving those in need. This FREE event is packed with praise & worship, live performances, food distribution, and so much more. See you there! 🛍️❤️
