🍂🎃 A little change in plans, but a whole lot of FALL FUN! 🎃🍂

Mother Nature had other plans for our Fall Festival, so we had to pivot and bring most of the fun indoors! And you know what? Our Dolphins showed us EXACTLY what resilience looks like. 🐬💙

Life doesn’t always go according to plan, and we can’t always control the circumstances around us—but we can choose our attitude! Instead of focusing on what changed, our students, families, and volunteers embraced the moment, rolled with the punches, and made the best of it. Because at the end of the day, it’s not about having perfect conditions; it’s about making the most of what you’re given. ❤️

We’re so proud of our Dolphins for reminding us that adaptability, positivity, and a little flexibility can turn an unexpected change into a wonderful memory. Thank you to everyone who helped us pivot, pitched in, and made this festival special no matter what the weather had in store!

AME families! We’ve extended wristband pre-sales until the end of the day today! Wristbands will be sent home in backpacks on Friday.

They’ll be for sale at Fall Fest too, but imagine how much easier it will be to send your kids into the gym in their costumes to get lined up for the parade, and then NOT having to stand in line for their wristbands or track them down after (because they can already be wearing them!) They’ll be able to go directly to bounce houses/game booths after the parade ends!

Wristband sales won’t start until after the parade ends (and don’t officially start until 4pm).

Remember! Kids should come in costume (there’s a costume contest) and be in the gym with their class and teacher by 3:15 for a 3:30 parade start. The parade will not leave the Center this year - so plan to hang out in the field to watch!

🎃🍂 **LET’S GET CREATIVE, AME FAMILY & ISLAND COMMUNITY!** 🍂🎃

Think you can turn a pumpkin into a work of art? Join us for the AME Fall Fest Decorated Pumpkin Contest!

Whether you create a spooky masterpiece, a favorite character, or something totally unique, we can’t wait to see what you come up with!

*Everyone is welcome to participate!*You do NOT need to be a child or an AME family member to enter!

Contest Day: October 17 at Fall Fest at The Center AMI
**Pumpkin Drop-Off:** Bring your pre-decorated pumpkin to the front desk at The Center on October 16.

Get the whole family involved, show off your creativity, and help us fill Fall Fest with some amazing pumpkin creations!

⚠️ Pumpkins will be used as outdoor event decor (highly recommend NOT carving - Google “decorated pumpkins” for ideas). We’ll do our best to keep them safe, but we cannot guarantee they won’t be damaged.

We had an AMAZING turnout for the Dolphin Dash 5k and Fin's Fun Run! The weather was perfect after a week of storms and showers. We had 107 registered 5k runners (3 virtual) and 90 registered fun runners!

We cannot thank our fabulous volunteers for all their help, and all of our sponsors for their support! We could not have done it without you, and it was truly a team effort!

This may just become an annual event! 🤩
