The (new) Webelos earned their first pin, the Aquanaut adventure, by learning swimming safety, rescue techniques and attempting to tread water. Did you know that you can use your shirt or pants to make a flotation device in an emergency? 🛟
Then they were able to enjoy an afternoon of swim time which ended with everyone soaking in the hot tub!

⚾ Scout night at the Blueclaws stadium was a big hit! We enjoyed a double header with many fun activities - scout parade on the field, sneaker scramble game, meeting players and enjoying yummy treats. Our scouts even caught an opportunity to play tag. 😅 The beautiful evening was capped off with fireworks, a movie and camping on the field.

Enjoy the rest of summer. We are busy preparing to welcome everyone back to our regular meetings soon!!

Scouts and their families enjoyed a beautiful night at the ballpark cheering on the Somerset Patriots. One of our scout's sibling even won the 'Healthy Choices' race as the carrot!

We joined Monmouth Council, BSA in MonmouthNJ250 Red, White & You parade celebrating America's 250th birthday. The scouts proudly paraded 2.3 miles through Middletown on the anniversary of the Battle of Monmouth and enjoyed seeing all the spectators along the way. 🇺🇲

We brought our largest group yet to Monmouth Council, BSA Family Camp at QHSR! From archery to BB guns, conquering the rope bridge to snow cones, our scouts enjoyed the activity filled day. In the evening we had time to grill dinner and roast marshmallows for s'mores before heading off to the campfire to perform a skit and then watch a movie (or Knicks game) at dark.

Special thanks to Lezlee for coordinating our group and bringing all the food and supplies. What a fun way to close the scout year and kick off summer!

The storms stayed away for Pack 131's end of year celebration. We had a fun night filled with team games, food, popsicles, awards and capped it off with a parent vs. kids dodgeball game!

We extend a huge thank you to the Holmdel Kiwanis for generously providing and grilling our dinner.

Thank you Tyler for planning the evening and bringing your enthusiastic energy. To all our leaders - thank you for giving your time to make an adventurous cub scout year! The fun continues tomorrow...

The Wolves finished off their year with a hike at Holmdel Park looking for animals and evidence of wildlife. They also made a trail mix with healthy foods for energy and M&Ms for a treat (the best part!).

Bears on bikes! What a beautiful breezy morning to go on a den ride and ending with exploring the visitor center and historic racing stable at Thompson Park.
