HFEE - Holmdel Foundation for Educational Excellence

Founded in 1996, HFEE brings private funding to Holmdel Schools to enhance the educational experience of each and every public school student.

HFEE has awarded over $2M in gifts & grants to the Holmdel schools, teachers and students since our inception. HFEE is a 25+ year old charitable organization that was created to bring private funding to the Holmdel Schools. The Foundations' goal is to enhance the educational experience of each and every public school student by fostering innovative programs in the areas of Academics, Athletics, an

d the Arts, and providing funds for the purchase of equipment and other material used in these programs. In the last 15+ years we have gifted over $1.5 million to the schools, faculty and students through our large gift initiative and mini grant program. 💡 Innovation in Action! 💡

We are still buzzing from the incredible 2026 Technology and Engineering Showcase!

A huge shoutout to the amazing students from Satz and Holmdel High School who put their hard work and talent on display.

Events like Tech Night held in the High School are a direct reflection of what happens when a community invests in its future. As our technology teachers highlighted, these groundbreaking student projects were made possible through the generous gifts and grants that the HFEE has funded over the years.

From robotics to complex engineering designs, the wide range of projects on display truly highlighted both the immense talent of our students and the profound impact of HFEE’s continuous contributions to our schools.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our students, and a massive thank you to our donor’s for providing the resources to help our students bring their ideas to life! 🚀🛠️

🍎 A HUGE Thank You to the Battista Family! 🍎

We want to send a special shout-out and a massive thank you to the Battista Family for being the winning bidders of the Principal for a Day prize at this year’s HFEE Gala!

Thanks to their incredible generosity and support of the Holmdel Foundation for Educational Excellence, two very special little girls got to step into the front office and take charge as the Principals for a Day at Village School!

From what we hear, the new bosses had an absolute blast running the school, making big decisions, and—of course—taking a well-deserved break for some delicious pizza and snacks. 🍕✨

Thank you again to the Battista Family for your wonderful support of our schools, our teachers, and our students. Village School was definitely in great hands!
