Ke Kula Nui O Waimānalo is excited to announce that the MALAMA Aquaponics Program is coming to Hilo in Spring 2026! MALAMA is a family-based backyard aquaponics program with 9 hands-on workshops over 6 months. Families will learn how to build and maintain a backyard aquaponics system and how to make lāʻau and healthy meals from the plants and fish grown. At the end of the program, we will build aquaponic systems together for each ʻohana to take home.

Christmas All Year! In partnership with the Hawai'i Forest Institute, KPFA is hosting a potted Christmas tree sale at the Pana'ewa Hub today, 9 am to 4 pm, and Saturday, 9 am to 2 pm. You can also buy amazing baked goodies on Friday & veggies/fruits on Saturday at our Farmers Market.
