We're so PROUD to be KA'Ū STRONG 💪🏽 & to be able to give back to our community ❤️ ... Ka'ū nō ka ‘oi ... I have 300+ pictures to share and there aren't enough hours in a day to get to post in our busy day ... I promise to get to posting majority of them on or by this Sunday.

We had 11 volunteers with a steady crew all of the time: John, Jovena, Clarissa, Blossom, Kehau, Kai, Rose, Kahea, Hunter, Korina, Christian ... We also had numerous groups that volunteered for the day ... A HUGE MAHALO to all of them ... Brisen Kailiawa for our AWESOME signs ... Everyone went from sun up to sun down in the immediate aftermath...then went to a reasonable schedule ... We serviced our community daily: 275+ individuals, ʻohana, houseless community members, and their animals every day, providing essential resources during the most critical days following the storm. We reached out to all of our donors/partners/businesses that we've worked with over the last 4+ years to help out. We got donations that just keep rolling in 🙏🏽❤️ Food • Water • Ice • Pet Food • Propane • Gas • Toiletries • Cleaning Supplies • Trash Bags • Clothing • Towels • Buckets • Shovels • Emergency Lighting • Resources & Referrals • And More..
Another HUGE SHOUT OUT & MAHALO to our 2 Community Hubs on Keahi St (Dacalio 'Ohana) & Kaumahana St (Kailiawa 'Ohana) & Jen Makuakāne and the crew @ the Pahala Ctr for all their hard work & all the tireless hours they poured in2 their successful hubs.
We were out of electricity for 2 weeks, without running water for 2 days, mentally & physically draining in ways you can't imagine unless you've been through similar things. Internet & cell service was either down or spotty...We ran without a generator until a day before the electricity came on when a new friend blessed 🙏🏽🙌🏽 us with their's to use.
