I went back and forth for months about sharing this.
Not because I was ashamed of my story, but because some parts of it still felt incredibly tender to speak out loud. Truthfully, it did not feel complete to share this until I was safely into the second trimester of my pregnancy.
2025 was simultaneously the most painful and transformative year of my life.
There were moments where I felt completely broken down by grief, heartbreak, depression, shame, illness, and exhaustion. There were also moments of profound healing, community, love, purpose, safety, and reconnection with myself and God.
What that year taught me more than anything is that healing is not linear.
I share this because I know so many people are silently carrying pain behind closed doors while still showing up for everyone around them.
And I also share this because the spaces we create through these retreats, ceremonies, and community were born from lived experience.
These are spaces where you do not need to perform.
You do not need to have it all together.
You do not need to hide your grief, your exhaustion, your fear, or your humanity.
You are allowed to unravel here.
You are allowed to rest here.
You are allowed to be held here. 🤍
