On ke ao polohiwa a Kanaloa, these 10 ‘olapa of Halau o Kekuhi completed the requirements to be elevated to the next level of Hula. As expected with a minimum of 15 and maximum of 23 years of Hula under a kumu hula that expects nothing but spiritual, cultural, and physical excellence, these candidates for the newest papa Ki’i Lehua, performed at the highest level of Hula.
