Eleven years ago, Steve and Annie Zolman founded Tiny Hero with a simple but powerful mission: to bring hope, support, and connection to families impacted by CDH. What began as a dream inspired by their own family’s journey has grown into a community that reaches thousands of Tiny Heroes and their loved ones around the world.

Whether you’re newly diagnosed, celebrating milestones, honoring a loved one, or simply looking for people who understand, Tiny Hero exists because Steve and Annie believed no family should face CDH alone.

Meet Tiny Hero Ozzy 💙 What was first thought to be a lung condition during pregnancy turned into a left-sided CDH diagnosis at 35 weeks, just days before he was born.

Ozzy arrived at 36 weeks and had his CDH repair at only 2 days old. After 26 days in the NICU and a few unexpected hurdles along the way, he continued to prove just how resilient he is.

Today, Ozzy is doing wonderfully, keeping his family on their toes, and reminding everyone that even the toughest starts can lead to incredible stories. 💙

Today, we celebrate a very special Tiny Hero—Adam Zolman, the original Tiny Hero whose journey inspired the creation of our organization and a community that has supported thousands of families affected by CDH.

A special message from Adam’s parents, Tiny Hero founders Annie and Steve:

“Happy 12th birthday to our amazing Adam! Adam is full of passion, personality, and interests that bring so much joy to our family and everyone around him. This year has brought lots of progress, and also some challenges that have caught us by surprise, but Adam continues to show us strength in his own special way. We are slowly working through each step and celebrating every bit of growth along our journey. We are so proud of Adam and so grateful for the love and support from our Tiny Hero community!”
