🍸RILEY’S FRIDAY NIGHT LAST CALL🍸
Meet Riley, our newest Meals on Wheels client.

Her first assignment ➡️ 12 people × $10 — or sponsor a food item for a family. 🐾

We have a last minute request. 2 of our bins are missing and with rain coming tomorrow, we need to replace them. ($12 each).

We also have 3 requests for food, and we didn’t receive any Lil’ Shakes from our Wishlist Wednesday this week and that’s something we can’t skip.

➤ Can we find 13 people tonight to donate $10? Or, if someone would rather sponsor a food item for one of these families, please let us know and we will send the address ***please keep in mind We are on the stray route and will be checking the phone between stops.

2 large bags of kitten chow
2 boxes lil shakes
2 Friskies pate
2 shreds

We have 3 rescues needing surgery soon, we need to raise money for our attorney again and we have to pay the mortgage on the property. We have some big expenses in front of us, so we really need help covering these smaller things when they come up.

‼️CAN ANYONE HELP WITH A QUICK 40-MINUTE ROUND-TRIP TRANSPORT TODAY? ?🐾

📍Covington ➜Ft. Thomas ➜Covington
(40min roundtrip)

This is our little girl who was hit by a car last weekend. She’s still with her emergency foster and is due for pain medication.

We just need someone to take her from Covington to Fort Thomas and back. Fort Thomas confirmed they just need her there before 6. It’s about 15 minutes each way, and she should be there no more than 5-10 minutes.

She’ll be getting Zorbium applied and an anti-inflammatory to take home.

If anyone has availability to help us out today, please comment below.

Thank you 🐾

‼️LAST-MINUTE HELP WITH AN URGENT NEED BEFORE THE PRIME DEALS END‼️

➜ 16ppl x $10= covers both

We apologize for posting so late. We had some things to get done for the lawsuit tomorrow and have been heads down, and just realized we only have a couple hours left to take advantage of a good deal.

One of our fosters developed severe allergies a little while back and was doing great with an air purifier recommended by the vet. A couple weeks ago it broke, and we can really see the difference now—his skin is getting bad again and he’s more congested. 😿
If someone would sponsor the bag of Kitten Chow, please message us.

➡️ 16 × $10 covers BOTH.

We’re also placing a last-minute order for Lil’ Shakes since we’re out and need to make sure we have them for tomorrow.

If anyone can spare $10 to help us knock these 2 smaller needs out compared to some of the big ones we have coming, it would be really appreciated.

We want to express our gratitude 💕 to our supporters for the cat food, supplies and donations. Thank you!

❗️Our homeless cats depend on food from Wish List Wednesday. We cannot stress enough how important these weekly donations are to these cats. We truly appreciate all the donations we are receiving.

A reminder - This Wish List Wednesday is for donations specifically for homeless and foster cats we care for under the rescue. Our need for food and supplies is staggering considering the stray route, needs for cats in foster homes, and a few families in need who we help.

We will focus on a few things each week, although anything donated from the lists is always needed and helpful.

‼️Today’s focus is:

1. Dry cat food - Friskies, 9 Lives, Purina Cat Chow (we are very low 🙀)

2. Shreds canned food

3. Pate’ canned food

4. ‘Lil shakes and Baby Food (helps our seniors and dental cases)

5. Litter

6. Purina Kitten Chow dry food (yellow bag) and Fancy Feast *Kitten* canned food

7. Chewy or Amazon gift cards (can be ordered on the wish lists) so we can easily buy and deliver needed items when we don’t receive certain donations.

‼️URGENT FOSTER NEEDED‼️ She’s going to need more help than we realized.

📍Northern KY/Cincinnati

UPDATE: It was confirmed that the sweet little girl we pulled last week was hit by a car. X-rays showed her pelvis is fractured in 5 different places 💔 We were quoted over $2,000 for surgery. She is dragging her back leg and barely moves.

The person who stepped up as an emergency foster cannot continue to hold her due to time constraints. We need someone who can hold her while we raise funds for a leg amputation and through her recovery afterward.

She is VERY SWEET. ❤️
• Combo tested negative
• Flea treated
• Currently on an antibiotic for her leg wound and ear drops
• Given pain medication, but she needs to go back tomorrow for another dose because she is hurting. She is dragging herself back-and-forth to the litter box without issue.

We need to get her somewhere ASAP where she can get the attention she needs while we keep moving forward with her medical care.

Ideally she would be somewhere with someone who is home a decent amount of time or works from home and can keep an eye on her. She loves attention and would likely do okay in a home with another 1-3 friendly, non-aggressive cats.

⚠️ FILLING OUT OUR APPLICATION IS A NECESSARY FIRST STEP.

🚨 EMERGENCY — THIS PARAKEET NEEDS IMMEDIATE HELP🚨

📍Newport, KY

➡️ UPDATE- VEG WILL NOT SEE HIM. They recommended MedVet. Is there anybody that can help this bird to any degree?

We were contacted by someone whose cat somehow got into the bird’s room and managed to pull the parakeet’s leg off through the cage.

She has called two Emergency places who said they do not see birds. She is at home and doesn’t drive and her mom is at work.

⚠️ DOES ANYONE KNOW ANY KNOWLEDGEABLE BIRD PEOPLE OR RESCUES THAT CAN HELP ? She will have to raise funds for an emergency visit and we can call her an Uber but we just need someone who can see this bird.

This is our 3rd emergency today and we desperately need someone to step in and help with this one.

Please contact her directly: 859-966-1124

‼️URGENT — MISSING CAT ‼️

📍 Covington, KY — Kroger on Madison Avenue

HE HAS AN OWNER — HE’S THE LAST CONNECTION 2 CHILDREN HAVE TO THEIR MOM💔

Someone took Sunny from the Kroger area on Madison Avenue. Sunny is 12 years old. This cat belonged to their mom, who passed away years ago, leaving her husband and 2 children.
Sonny has always loved to go outside and that’s what he does. He usually goes home when it’s time for a nap.

➡️ We have been helping to care for Sunny since 2016. We feed him every day and help the family with any vetting that need (which he still needs more mouth extractions).

We understand he was likely taken with good intentions, but Sunny has a home and a family. This is now the 2nd cat missing from this location. Ian is also missing (another orange cat). This colony is managed and several cats belong to people in this area.

⚠️ If you have any information or know where Sunny is, please message us here or:

Please help us get him back.

‼️55 PPL × $10 = SHE GETS HER CHANCE‼️

THIS HOMELESS KITTEN DECIDED TO TRADE TNR FOR INDOOR LIFE…BUT FIRST WE NEED HER BETTER.

This little girl (now Martina) was found this weekend at one of our stops struggling to walk. Shortly after we found a pretty nasty wound near her hip and days later still hasn’t moved much 😿 Based on her behavior the first few days we planned to get her better and she’d eventually be a TNR.
Apparently Martina had other plans and has decided she likes indoor life…especially belly rubs. 💕

Between limited vet availability and transport, it’s taken us a few days to get her in, but today’s her day. Her estimate for the exam, X-rays, combo test, vaccines and dewormer is $555. (That does not include treatment for the wound or any medications she may need.)

We can’t post every vet visit but we had 2 unexpected vet visits this week for medical fosters and 4 more who need to be seen, so we need to stay ahead of this. Her appointment is at 2:30 today at Care Center of Ft. Thomas (big thank you to Erin Archey for transporting).

We are not doing a $5 Friday tomorrow, this is it.

55 people x $10= The start of her new life.
