Coming up next Saturday! We'll be helping out with this exciting event and for a great cause! Come on out and join us there!

We're officially just one week away! We hope to see everyone there for an evening of fun and laughs for a great cause!

The game will be held at the fairgrounds softball fields on the lower field (Field 3). Gates will open at 5:30 pm and the game will start at 7 pm. All players need to be there at 6 pm for a player meeting.

Concessions will be available or come early and join the Henning Area Community Association for their annual Community BBQ at the event center, serving from 4p-6p!

Thank you to everyone that assisted at this scene, Parkers Prairie Fire and Ambulance, Vining Fire, Deer Creek Fire, and Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of this tragic event.

Our fireman is resting and recovering at home and will be back out and about soon! Thank you to everyone who has checked in on him over the past few days. We have an amazing community and appreciate you all! ♥️

UPDATED PRESS RELEASE--08/13/26

The deceased victim of the fire has been identified as Paulette Venzke, a 77-year-old female who lived at the residence. One family dog is missing and presumed to be deceased from the incident. One Henning fireman was injured in the initial response to the scene. The fireman was treated and released from the hospital, no other injuries were reported. While the investigation is still ongoing, no foul play is suspected.
