A heartfelt thank you to **Texas Roadhouse Hendersonville** for allowing us to set up our **POW/MIA Remembrance Table**. 🇺🇸

This table is a reminder that our heroes and their sacrifices should **never be forgotten**. We honor those who served, those who are still unaccounted for, and the families who continue to carry their legacy.

🎀🇺🇸 **Calling All Girl Scout Troop Leaders!** 🇺🇸🎀

The **VFW Auxiliary Post 9851** is looking for local **Girl Scout troops who would like to partner with us in supporting our veterans and their families!**

We would love to work together on projects throughout the year, such as:

❤️ Collecting donations for veterans
🇺🇸 Making cards and special gifts for veterans
🎁 Helping with veteran donation drives
🤝 Participating in activities and service projects
⭐ Learning more about our veterans and their service to our country

Our hope is to create a partnership where Girl Scouts can **serve, learn, and build meaningful connections with the veterans in our community.**

We set up this table as a reminder of the brave men and women who served our country and **never made it home** — those who were prisoners of war and those who remain missing in action.

Each part of the table has meaning. The empty chair reminds us that someone is still missing. The single place setting represents the service member who cannot be with us. The table is a quiet reminder that **we must never forget their sacrifice or stop remembering those who are still unaccounted for.**

.What a wonderful time we had at Drakes Creek Park's Freedom Fest! 🇺🇸

Not even the rain or storms could keep us from showing up and standing proudly in support of our veterans. It was an honor to represent **VFW Post 9851** and **VFW Auxiliary 2 Post 9851**, connecting with our community and celebrating the freedoms our heroes fought to protect.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, visited with us, and continues to support those who have served. Days like these remind us that a little rain can't dampen the spirit of a community that stands together.
