While you’re grocery shopping this weekend, consider adding a few extra items to help a neighbor this holiday season.

Roof Above Resilience is collecting food for our Thanksgiving and Christmas box giveaways in Lumberton.

We need:
Canned vegetables and cranberry sauce
Rice, stuffing mix, and boxed mashed potatoes
Macaroni and cheese
Gravy mix, broth, cornbread mix, and cake mix

Businesses, churches, families, and community groups: consider collecting one item together. A small food drive can help fill several boxes!

Thanksgiving: November 14, 2026
Christmas: December 12, 2026
Tabernacle Baptist Church, Lumberton, MS
Both begin at 9 a.m., until supplies are gone.

We are now accepting applications for the 2026-27 cohort of Teen Action Group (TAG)! TAG is a fully virtual peer-led leadership development program that trains high-school students to provide medically-accurate, inclusive sexual and reproductive health information within their communities. We’re looking for any high-schoolers in Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi that want to make an impact in their communities through peer health education (and earn a stipend and community service hours).
