Snowfest - Camp Grizzly 1/31/26

We had a ton of fun today at Camp Grizzly snowfest (sans the snow). A few of our Cub Scouts and a few of our BSA Scouts joined in on the fun for outdoor adventures and a real taste of what scouting is all about. I can't wait for our next camp grizzly adventure!

Some recent pictures from this week's Pack and Troop meetings!

On Wednesday, Pastor Fred from the Endicott Bible Church came by and talked with our scouts about first aid and CPR. Our scouts learned a lot! And then on Thursday, our BSA Scouts talked about camping gear and what to bring (and what not to bring) for a campout! We are having a lot fun, and we have a lot of room for new members! So if you know someone who would like to be a part of our growing Scouting Family, being them along!

A Big Thank You!

First, a huge thank you to Pastor Fred from the Endicott Bible Church for joining us tonight! He did an amazing job teaching our scouts about first aid, CPR, and calling 911. The kids were engaged, learning, and having a blast - we're so grateful for his time and expertise!

Mark Your Calendars - Important Dates Ahead:

Friday, February 13th - Blue & Gold Dinner 6pm
This is our BIG celebration! Our Blue & Gold Dinner is our award ceremony where we honor all the amazing accomplishments our scouts have achieved since we launched our unites in October. This is a potluck event, so please bring a dish to share and let me know what you're bringing so we can coordinate.

Bring your entire family, bring friends - this is a celebration of scouting and I want to see a packed room! This is such a special night for our scouts, and I really hope everyone can make it. Please don't miss this!!!!!

Friday, February 27th - Pinewood Derby Race Night & Bring a Friend Night 6pm
It's time for our first ever Pinewood Derby! We handed out cars at tonight's meeting, but I have extras if you didn't get yours. We'll have a car inspection night before the race on Friday Feb 20th from 6-7, We will inspect cars, and make sure they are race ready.

This is also Bring a Friend Night for Pack 506, so invite someone to join in the fun!

Friday, March 13th - Fishing Prep 6pm
We'll be learning all about fishing - how to tie knots, what equipment to use, and more!

Saturday, March 21th - Fishing Trip at Pampa Pond (Weather dependent)
We'll head out to Pampa Pond as a group for some real fishing! The pond should be well-stocked by then, and it'll be a great experience for the kids.

Friday March 27th Faith and Family Pack meeting 6pm
We will be talking about the different faiths present in our community, and will invite local pastors to come and talk about faith, family, and how a scout is reverent.

A Quick Note:
You may notice some date changes from what I have previously mentioned at tonight's meeting. I've had to adjust a few February dates due to wrestling schedules and church conflicts. Please let me know if you have issues with the proposed changes. Thank you for your flexibility!

If you have any questions about any of these events, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm here to help and want to make sure everyone has the information they need.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at these great events!

Yours in Scouting,
