Gather55 is a Hartford restaurant powered by Hands On Hartford, where every meal helps fight food insecurity and strengthen our community. Our Daytime Café (Mon–Thu, 9 AM–2 PM) offers breakfast, lunch, coffee, and smoothies. Guests can pay the suggested menu price, pay less, or volunteer with Hands On Hartford for their meal. Our Dinner Experience (Wed–Sat, 5 PM–8:30 PM) features rotating guest ch

efs from across Connecticut. Enjoy a multi-course menu or à la carte options, with a portion of seats reserved for diners who can’t pay. Meet Andrea!

Andrea is the Gather55 Restaurant Supervisor, bringing more than two decades of hospitality experience and a passion for creating welcoming, dignified dining experiences for everyone.

Since joining Gather55 in 2022, Andrea has been a key part of shaping our restaurant’s culture and guest experience. Her thoughtful leadership, commitment to exceptional service, and people-first approach help make Gather55 a place where everyone feels welcome.

Andrea says she enjoys working at Gather55 because “it gives me a chance to really give back and be part of something bigger than myself," and that is what makes her such a wonderful part of our leadership!

We are so fortunate to have Linda as a longtime volunteer at Hands on Hartford. She brings her time, creativity, and talents to our community!

One of Linda’s favorite ways to give back is through flowers. Each month, she creates beautiful arrangements for the tables at Gather55, adding an extra touch of warmth and beauty to the space.

What makes it even more special? Flowers aren’t her only talent: Linda also brings her culinary creativity to Gather55, where her wonderful soup recipes are always a treat for the guests of our daytime café.
