Hi there, I'm Addie! 🥰 I'm a 6-year-old, 38-lb brindle beauty, and I'm officially looking for my forever family. My talents include jumping in the car before you even finish saying "wanna go?", supervising squirrels and rabbits from the deck, finding the sunniest spot in the yard for a snooze, and being an expert-level cuddle buddy. My foster mom says I'm a very happy, easy girl and a great companion ... and honestly, I have to agree. Oh, and I'm housebroken too!

My name is Billie and I was found in Mt. Vernon. I was a very young mom and very scared. I'm lucky I was rescued and taken inside. I’m safe at the Kitty Cottage now. I have good food, a very tall cat tree and a lot of fun toys but I would love a forever family. I promise I'll come running to you when you come home and roll over to show you how happy I am. I can also do a really neat trick with my tail...it vibrates when I'm excited. The volunteers tell me I'm a social butterfly and can’t resist scooping me up for quick hug and a purr. I'm a petite girl and won't take up too much room but I'll fill your whole heart with joy 🙂 By the way, I’m happy to share my home with another feline friend, but no dogs please.

This may look like a simple picture of a dog resting peacefully but to us, this photo is everything! ♥

This little pup is Blair. She was in an overcrowded shelter and her euthanasia date was scheduled for 4/17 — but instead, we pulled her to safety on 4/16 and she was adopted last weekend. Today, she has a soft bed, toys scattered around her, and the safety and security of a family that loves her ... everything a dog could want.

Her new family renamed her Georgia and shared that “she’s adjusting very well, and has been so sweet and easy." This picture means the world to us knowing how close she came to never getting this chance at all.

This is why rescue matters. Enjoy your life, sweet girl! 🐾
