Today! Florian East will be donating a portion of their beer sales profits to support Hamtramck Mutual Aid so we can continue providing services and support to our neighbors. Their hours today are 5-10pm.

They'll also have folks there to share info about alternative voting systems that help level the playing field so if you've heard about Ranked Choice Voting and want to learn more, today is the day! 6-8pm

Happy Thankful Thursday one and all...just wanted to remind everyone that the Queen of Apostles Soup Kitchen will be hosting their monthly giveaway tomorrow January 23, 2026......

I beg my clients to please dress warm and in layers. Please don't come until 8:00 am tomorrow. For your safety in this cold weather.

We will be starting hopefully before 8:30 am because of the extreme cold weather forecast. Could be sooner. All depends on the unloading and set up inside.


Please be patient with the volunteers. We work as fast as we can to set everything up.

Here are some of the items that will be given away.
1-2-liter's of pop -- 1-fabric softener -- 2 gallons of milk -- onions -- potatoes -- bags of rice -- a dozen eggs --
bags of apples --bread -- assorted vegetables --

For my Halal clients you will get a bag of salad shrimp (Frozen)
For my Chicken eating clients you will get a whole chicken (Frozen) our chicken is NOT HALAL...

We are being fair with all our clients and we hope you know we work hard to make everyone happy.

Several years ago when seniors needed to move out of their apartments that had been flooded, TimeBank members stepped in.
TimeBanks also help through the kinds of emergencies that happen every day- broken down car, leaky roof, sudden medical problems.
