🚨 158,000 people in New Hampshire are facing food insecurity. That’s about 11.2% of our state, or roughly 1 in 9 neighbors.

That’s exactly why this Sunday’s 2nd Annual Rising Rose Harvest Festival is about more than just a fun fall afternoon. We’re coming together to support a local family while also collecting food and everyday essentials for Gather to help families across our community.

We’re in the home stretch less than two weeks away! 🌹⛳

Our 2nd Annual Rising Rose Foundation Golf Tournament is almost here, and thanks to this incredible community, the course is full and this event is shaping up to be an amazing day for Parker.

There are just a few ways left to be part of it:

🥫🌹 HARVEST IS ABOUT MORE THAN ONE DAY OF GIVING BACK.

One of the pieces we’re most excited about for this year’s Harvest Festival is our partnership with Gather and the food drive we’ll be hosting throughout the event.

One of our founders, Lily James Photography | Nikola Viens, stopped by Gather today to pick up our collection boxes and got a firsthand look at their Pantry Market and the incredible work happening right here in our community.

Gather serves thousands of Seacoast residents each month and distributes more than 1.6 million pounds of food each year. But what makes their work so special is the dignity and choice built into the way they serve. Their Pantry Market is set up like a grocery store, allowing families to choose the fresh produce, proteins, pantry staples and household necessities that actually work for them, completely free. So kids can walk in with their families and have the same grocery store experience as everyone else.

They also bring food directly into communities through Mobile Markets, help feed children when school isn’t in session, prepare meals through Cooking 4 Community and work with local farms to keep fresh food from going to waste.

It’s not just about providing food. It’s about food security, dignity and community taking care of community. 🌹

So if you’re joining us at Harvest this Sunday, bring a donation and help us fill these boxes!

🌹 HARVEST WITH A PURPOSE 🌻

One of our favorite parts of last year’s Harvest Festival was seeing just HOW much food our community showed up with. We packed up boxes and boxes of donations, and this year we are so excited to once again partner with Gather for a community food drive!

And the need right here at home is very real. 1 in 9 New Hampshire residents and 1 in 6 children experience food insecurity, and here in Rockingham County, 11.6% of children are food insecure.

When you come to Harvest, bring an item (or a few!) for Gather if you can. 🥫❤️

Some of their most-needed items include:

🥣 Cereal, oatmeal + breakfast items
🥜 Peanut butter + low-sugar jelly
🥫 Canned tuna, chicken, salmon + other proteins
🍝 Mac & cheese, canned pasta + tomato sauce
🍲 Ready-to-eat soups + easy-to-prepare sides
🍎 Healthy snacks, kids snacks + protein bars
🫒 Olive oil + vegetable oil
👶 Diapers, especially sizes 4 & 5, Pull-Ups + baby wipes
🧴 Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, razors, toothbrushes + toothpaste

We are SO excited to welcome Maeve’s Mobile Cocktail Hour to our 2nd Annual Rising Rose Harvest Festival! 🍹🌻

Maeve’s will be serving up specialty cocktails, refreshing mocktails AND delicious small bites throughout the day. Come sip, snack and enjoy an afternoon at Vernon Family Farm while supporting an incredible cause.

And Maeve’s is just one of the amazing things you’ll find at the festival!
