Join us as we honor International Overdose Awareness Day with remembrance, honor and hope at McGregor Park in Derry tomorrow evening, August 31, between 6-8 PM. This is a family friendly event with activities for youth. We will be serving some of our favorites, and we hope that you can join us for this important time.

We are back in action next Friday, September 4 with our Mobile Food Pantry. The selections are vast and we will have a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables as a result of our collaboration with the New Hampshire Food Bank . As always, the selection can change but listed below is what we are expecting to offer! Please bring your own bags!

"Mi waan ordah di jerk chicken."

Well, that's a good thing because that is what we are serving at our Jamaican community dinner tomorrow, August 25! We will welcome you to dine at one long table, community style, to get to know you neighbors and enjoy Jamaican style food before strolling over the Meetinghouse Park to listen to RDMTION (Redemption), a 6-piece Jamaican Reggae band. Come on up to the truck, order your food and sit back and enjoy the fun sounds of the evening.

$25 per meal with all profits going to fund our Fall/Winter Program.

Community Garden tours start at 3:30, meals at 4:30 and the concert at 6!

This week, we wrapped up our Spring/Summer 2026 summer meal program! As this photo showcases, our collective efforts resulted in a profound impact, serving over 26,000 meals to our neighbors in need. We're forever grateful to the generous donors who seized our matching grant opportunity provided by the Alexander Eastman Foundation, and to our selfless volunteers, who bring joy and dedication to their work, making a real difference in our community!

As we look ahead, we're excited to prepare for our Fall/Winter program, which will bring hearty meals to those who need it most during the colder months. Stay tuned for our return in early October!

Hi folks,
Here is the menu for this week's meals. This is our last week of the 2026 summer program. As always, our food pantry has good availability and we anticipate resuming our mobile food pantry services in early September, thanks to our successful partnership with the New Hampshire Food Bank.

We will be back in action in early October with heartier meals for cooler weather!

Our director, Jim Carey, was all smiles at The Upper Room, a Family Resource Center yesterday afternoon for their Ice Cream Social. Jim and crew served 240 slices of delicious pizza to lots of happy guests!
