Good morning!

We’re thrilled to announce that the St. Anne Food Pantry is expanding its hours to bring nourishment to those who need it most!

Our doors are now open Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Be sure to check the graphic below for specific hours and what’s available each day.

Front Room Only:
Mondays, Tuesday mornings and Wednesdays
Fresh produce, dairy and bakery items

Full Food Pantry:
Tuesday afternoons, Thursdays and Saturdays
Fresh produce, dairy and bakery items plus pantry staples

We hope these expanded hours make it easier for more of our neighbors to access the food they need. More days, more food and more opportunities to fill the table!

🥶🔥 DERRY FOLKS ‼️Heating your home is expected to cost more this winter.

Heating oil costs are projected to be significantly higher than last winter, and overall home heating costs are expected to rise as well. For families already trying to keep up with groceries, rent, mortgages, electric bills and property taxes, another increase can hurt.

If you live in Derry and think you may need help this winter, apply early. You do NOT have to wait until you’re completely out of heating oil or already behind on your bills.

Here at Heaven’s Kitchen, we take our meals seriously, but we don’t always take our menus too seriously!

We pride ourselves on serving good, nutritious, top-quality meals, and we are fortunate to receive food from a variety of wonderful sources, including food wholesalers, generous donors, local grocery stores, reputable restaurants and catering services. We only accept food from sources that share our commitment to quality and food safety. Food safety is paramount to our program, and every meal we serve is prepared and handled with the same care and high standards we expect in our own kitchen. Every now and then, one of those sources will call us with an opportunity we simply can’t pass up: a surplus of delicious food that is available at the last minute. That’s where our Excess to Access program comes in! Our goal is simple, take perfectly good food that might otherwise go to waste and turn it into delicious meals for our neighbors. It’s a win for everyone, especially the people we serve. The only catch? Sometimes we need to switch things up at the last minute!

We know many of you appreciate the predictability of our weekly menu, and we’ll always do our best to keep you informed. But please know that the menu you see Monday morning may look a little different by Tuesday or Thursday. When that happens, we hope you’ll think of it as a fun surprise rather than a menu change. You might just get to enjoy something extra special that we wouldn’t otherwise have had access to! We’ll share last-minute changes on social media whenever we can, but sometimes the kitchen magic happens faster than Facebook or Instagram can keep up!

Our first priority will always be serving nutritious, delicious meals to those experiencing food insecurity, while making the most of every food resource available to us. This will also allow us to serve MORE MEALS.

Thank you for understanding, supporting our mission and being willing to embrace a little culinary surprise along the way!

As we reflect on another very busy Mobile Food Pantry, we are incredibly grateful for our partnership with the New Hampshire Food Bank.

With each passing month, we are seeing the need increase and our lines getting longer. This partnership is invaluable, not only to us as facilitators, but most importantly to the guests we serve.

Because of this partnership, our neighbors are receiving more fresh fruits, dairy, fresh vegetables and protein, giving individuals and families the opportunity to stretch their food budgets while putting nutritious food on their tables.

We are grateful to the New Hampshire Food Bank for helping us meet a growing need in our communities and for making it possible for us to provide healthy, nutritious food to so many of our neighbors.
