The Kansas Learning Center for Health offers health education programs for children, teachers, and parents. Our motto is "education for a healthy life."

The Kansas Learning Center for Health promotes healthy lifestyles through signature programs. Our hands-on health and science presentations engage students at the Center or at your school. Let us provide a convenient and cost effective program that will enhance your curriculum. All classes and exhibits were designed in conjunction with school representatives to supplement classroom curriculum. Each of our programs adhere to the State and National Health and Science Standards. Our health educators provide an engaging experience for students and teachers: one that inspires them to continue to explore health!

Get creative this fall and join us for our Pumpkin Decorating Contest.

Pumpkin Pick-Up Dates:

October 22: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
October 23: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pick up your pumpkin, decorate it however you like, and return it to the Kansas Learning Center for Health by 3:00 PM on Halloween, October 31.

Age Categories:

5 and under
Ages 6–8
Ages 9–12
Ages 13 and up

This annual fundraiser helps provide the educational experiences and programs that make learning about health engaging, meaningful, and memorable for children across Kansas.

We’re excited for Session #2 of our 8-week Senior Program brought to you by the Kansas Learning Center for Health!

Join us for an informative morning as Alex shares there history of Halstead Bank and its role in our community. This program is open to all older adults in the Harvey County area and will be located at the Halstead Senior Center. Free refreshments will be provided.
