The Hadley Lions, along with the Lapeer County Genealogical Society, will be working together on the "Honoring our Heroes, one Tombstone at a Time project. Please consider joining us on Saturday, October 24th at the Greenwood cemetery from 9am to noon to help clean these Tombstones.

Just a reminder that the Lions will be hosting the monthly spaghetti dinner this Thursday at the Old Town Hall from 5 to 730, Dinner includes spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, cole slaw and homemade cakes. $9 for seniors, $10 for adults and $3 for children under 12.
We also will be having our food drive for the holiday season. So, check your cupboards for anything extra you could share and bring it to the dinner. Thank you in advance 🥰

The Hadley Lions will be looking for some friendly help on Saturday, October 24, from 9 to 12 at the Greenwood cemetery. We will be tackling cleaning up veterans headstones. Many hands make for light work. Details to follow

Just a reminder that we have a meeting tonight at the Old Town Hall at 7pm. We will be discussing our upcoming projects. The food drive, the cleaning of headstones at Greenwood Cemetery and the Halloween Spooktacular. We will need your input and ideas!

ZC Keith Kaighen and 1st DVG Deb Kaighen, represented 11 D2 at the Leader Dog For the Blind at an event yesterday. We met Lions from all over the United States, that came to tour and learn about the facility. This place is absolutely awesome! This is just one of the places that our fundraising monies go to. This place raises the dogs and then matches them with a blind client. We met 4 former clients and their dogs, that they really couldn't do without. They all shared how the dog enhances their lives.

Hadley Lions were present at the Pork and Plaid event in town. Our oldest lion, Lloyd Broecker grew one of the pumpkins. It was promptly named the "Lion King". A great time was had by all.

We made sure the concrete at the Old Town Hall was a go before we advertised our spaghetti dinner this Thursday, the 17th. Come and check out the new steps, porch and ramp. Be sure to step inside and get some spaghetti. Doors open at 5 till 7:30....or until the spaghetti runs out. See your smiling faces soon 😊 Then the next night you can check out the Pork and Plaid event at the mill, it should be a lot of fun!
