The Genesee Valley Two-Cylinder Club (known as Genesee Valley Tractor Collectors Club) was organized and formed on January 28, 1990 by R. There were approximately twenty-five people present at the meeting. The club was established for the preservation and history of the John Deere two-cylinder tractor. The club presently has over 125 members, and has over 500 tractors listed in our registry. We are a very active club holding meetings monthly. We participate in many parades, shows, and other club functions such as tractor pulls, and club plow days in the Flint and surrounding areas. We also work with/for area charities such as Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army. We are a very family centered organization, we love to swap stories and help each other with problems we might have, whether its finding parts or tractor mechanical problems. We enjoy potluck dinners or cook-outs with our club meetings as well as special monthly treats such as ice cream, pizza, or soup and pie. We have a family christmas party and an annual club dinner/auction. We WELCOME new members of all ages, from near and far. So come on in and join the fun! All you need is the love for Two-Cylinder Tractors.
