Rock Springs Outreach Center Our Mission: Serving the Community, Impacting People, Fulfilling Physical and Spiritual needs.

10/11/2026

You don’t need to discover some secret spiritual technique that Christians have missed for centuries.

**You need Jesus—and He has not hidden the way to Him.**

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” —Jeremiah 29:13

Maybe you’ve been asking, “Am I doing this right?”

Ask a better question:

**“Am I bringing my whole heart to Jesus and obeying what He shows me?”**

You don’t need to become more religious, more polished or more impressive.

**You need to become more available.**

Come join us for Sunday School this morning as we talk honestly about knowing Jesus, dwelling in His presence, and becoming vessels He can use.

📖 Sunday School — 9:45 a.m.
⛪ Worship Service — 11:00 a.m.

**Come hungry for more of Jesus.**

Living in the Presence of God

This question has been on my mind so much lately. Do we really know what it actually means to have a true relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ? I am reading a book titled, Becoming Like Jesus. the author talks about this in Chapter 7. Now, most people are going to be so quick to say, YES ! I know what this means and I have it. When I look at the lives of the men in bible and how God moved in their lives and used them, then I compare what we think it looks like, I see a huge disconnect. I know there are alot of things different in our world now than there was over 2000 years ago, but when it comes to dwelling in his presence and having a true relationship with Him, that should not look any different that what we see in the bible.

Question:

Do I seek God primarily for what I need Him to do, or because I genuinely desire to know Him?

Thought:

If an encounter with God makes us emotional but does not make us obedient, it has not completed its work.

Ya'll have a wonderful Thursday

Why do the poor exist?

Not so those who have more can use them as an avenue to receive blessings. The poor are not projects—they are people created in the image of God.

Yet poverty gives every believer a choice: Will we close our hearts, or will we allow God’s provision to flow through our hands?

“The poor will never cease from the land; therefore I command you, saying, ‘You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy.’” —Deuteronomy 15:11

We do not serve the poor because of what we might receive. We serve them because Jesus loves them—and when we care for “the least of these,” we are caring for Him.

Open your hand. Protect their dignity. Meet the need. Share the Gospel. Love people well.

f you are tired and worn down this Sunday morning, here is a word for you, and a simple prayer you can pray right where you are.

God would rather hear our honest pain than our dishonest praise.

“Lord, I am tired—but I am still Yours. Keep my heart tender. Renew the fire within me. Help me obey without allowing the resistance to destroy me.”

Let me here from you this morning if this speaks to you.

A sample for this morning Sunday School lesson at the Rock Springs Outreach Center:

Either our possessions will leave us, or we will leave them. Trying to find permanent security in temporary things is chasing the wind.

The Complete Biblical Picture

Job: We entered with nothing, everything was given, and we will leave it behind.

Solomon: Clinging to temporary things for permanent meaning is chasing the wind.

Jesus: Use faithfully what the Master entrusted to you until He returns.

The answer to life's temporary nature is not to stop working, building, planning, enjoying, or giving. The answer is to stop pretending that temporary things are permanent possessions.
