We fight s*x trafficking in our community by shining a light on exploitation and offering restoration to survivors.

Switch’s mission is to end s*x trafficking and s*xual exploitation in the Upstate of South Carolina through our five programs: Awareness, Prevention, Demand, Intervention, and Restoration

10/09/2026

🙏 Join us for our monthly prayer!

This Monday, we’re gathering to pray for our community, for those impacted by s*x trafficking, for survivors seeking restoration, and for the individuals and organizations working to bring exploitation into the light.

We believe prayer matters. As we fight s*x trafficking in our community, we recognize that this work belongs to the Lord, and we want to seek Him together—asking for His protection, justice, healing, and hope for those who need it most.

Whether you’ve been involved with Switch for years or are just learning about our mission, we invite you to join us as we lift our community up in prayer. 💙

How sweet are these words from a woman who has taken the bold step toward freedom from her past?

Restoration doesn’t happen overnight. It happens through steady presence, compassionate care, and reminding women that they are not defined by what they have experienced.

At Switch, restoration means walking alongside women as they navigate hard places, explore their options, meet practical needs, and begin to see a different future for themselves.

This is the work we’ll be shining a light on at Illuminate. A night to learn, worship, hear stories of restoration, and see what happens when our community chooses to step into the light.

Because restoration is possible. And every story matters.

We are so grateful for Kingdom Life for being a Radiance sponsor for Illuminate! 💛

Their partnership helps us shine a light on the reality of exploitation in our community and create space for our community to learn, worship, and hear stories of restoration.

Thank you, Kingdom Life, for standing with Switch and believing in the work God is doing through this ministry. We are grateful to have you in this fight with us!

We are so grateful for partners who remind survivors that their past does not have to define their future. ❤️

A special thank you to Inkslingers for partnering with Switch to provide free tattoo cover-ups for women in our Restoration Program.

For some survivors, tattoos can be painful reminders of exploitation, relationships, or seasons of life they are working to leave behind. Through his skill and generosity, Izzy at Inkslingers helps women replace those reminders with something new—a symbol of healing, hope, and a future that looks different.

We have seen first hand how this gift has given our participants a boost of confidence as they seek a new future of freedom from their past.

We are incredibly thankful for partners who use their gifts to serve women in our community and walk alongside them on their journey of restoration.

Thank you, Izzy, for being part of the work of restoration! 🙏

🎙️ NEW PODCAST EPISODE!

What does it look like to walk alongside someone as they rebuild their life after exploitation?

In this episode, we’re joined by LeeAnne Cavin from to talk about the critical role safe, stable housing can play in restoration. Together, we discuss the realities survivors face, the importance of meeting practical needs, and what it looks like when organizations come together to help women (and men) move toward stability and hope.

At Switch, we believe restoration happens through relationship, support, and a community willing to walk alongside survivors. We’re grateful for partners like Front Porch Housing who help make that possible. ❤️

✨ Please join us in congratulating Karin Freeland-Aviles as Switch’s new Development Director.

Karin joined Switch in August 2025 and has spent the past year building meaningful relationships with our donors, community partners, churches, and supporters while serving in both ministry and leadership roles.

Her passion for this mission is evident every time she talks about the work of Switch, whether she’s educating our community and youth about trafficking and exploitation or sharing how Switch walks alongside participants toward freedom and restoration.

This new role is a natural expansion of the work she's already been doing and brings an exciting opportunity to help strengthen the relationships, resources, and support that allow Switch to continue growing and fighting s*x trafficking in our community.

We’re grateful for the heart, experience, and dedication Karin brings to this mission. Please join us in welcoming Karin into this new, expanded role! 💛💙

We’re grateful to have been featured on FOX Carolina this week! 💙

The segment highlighted our Prevention Program and the importance of equipping students with the knowledge they need to recognize warning signs of exploitation, understand healthy relationships, and know where to turn when something doesn’t feel right.

We’re especially thankful for teachers like Katie Yon, who recognize the importance of these conversations and invite Switch into their classrooms. Prevention starts with education, and we’re honored to partner with educators who are willing to shine a light on this issue with their students.

The news also highlighted our Faith & Freedom Run, happening THIS Saturday, September 19! 🏃‍♀️✨

This race is an opportunity for our community to come together, shine a light on exploitation, and support the work happening through Switch in our local schools!

This Labor Day, we’re reminded that work should be a right- not a tool of exploitation.

Ending exploitation takes all of us. It takes people willing to show up, speak up, serve, and shine a light into the places where exploitation thrives.

Today, we’re grateful for the volunteers, partners, advocates, and supporters who faithfully labor alongside us in this fight. Because every person is made in the image of God, every person deserves the opportunity to work, live, and thrive in freedom. 💛
