Last month, SWITCH had the privilege of bringing our Prevention Training to the students at Brashier Middle College.

Through our 3-week curriculum, more than 130 students were trained and equipped with important education about preventing trafficking and exploitation, recognizing their value, and understanding that they are more than what culture, pressure, or harmful messages may try to tell them.

We are so grateful to Shiela, Karin, Patti, and Krystal for teaching these classes with compassion, wisdom, and a heart to protect and empower the next generation.

Prevention matters. Education matters. Every student matters.

Together, we are helping young people know the truth:
You are seen. You are valued. You are more.

Every gift matters. A one-time gift can help Switch respond when a survivor is in crisis and needs care right away.

But monthly giving helps us plan ahead, sustain services, and make sure support is still available long after the immediate crisis has passed.

That empty chair represents more than a counseling space. It represents safety, healing, hope, and the opportunity for a survivor to be seen, heard, and cared for.

When you become a monthly giver, you help ensure that this chair is ready today, next month, and six months from now.

Will you consider partnering with Switch through monthly giving?

Since 2012, SWITCH has been serving the Upstate with a mission to bring hope, healing, and restoration to those impacted by human trafficking and exploitation.

Our latest quarterly report reminds us that every presentation, every outreach, every prayer, and every step toward restoration matters.

So far this year, we celebrate:

22 Awareness Presentations YTD
8 Intervention Outings YTD
1 Restoration Graduate, May 2026
4 Monthly Prayer Meetings YTD + weekly prayers shared

These numbers represent more than statistics — they represent seeds of hope planted across our community.

Thank you to every volunteer, donor, prayer partner, and supporter who helps make this work possible. Together, we are seeing hope in action across the Upstate.

How do we protect kids in a world where predators have greater access than ever before? We sat down with Krystal Nierman, from our Prevention Program at Switch, to talk about equipping students, parents, and communities to recognize warning signs before exploitation happens.

Today’s youth are navigating a digital world full of hidden risks... from online grooming and manipulation to po*******hy exposure and exploitation. The good news? Prevention starts with awareness.

Krystal shares how Switch works directly with students to help them recognize red flags, grooming tactics, and manipulation strategies predators commonly use. We also discuss how vulnerabilities (like loneliness, low self-worth, trauma, or the need to belong) can make young people more susceptible, and what parents can do to strengthen protective factors at home.

Po*******hy is not harmless. It fuels a culture of objectification, normalizes exploitation, and increases the demand for commercial s*x.

At Switch, our Demand Pillar exists to address the root issues that drive trafficking in our community. When demand grows, exploitation grows. When awareness grows, change can begin.

We believe education matters. Prevention matters. Confronting demand matters.

Together, we can help expose the connection between po*******hy, commercial s*xual exploitation, and trafficking in the Upstate.

Educate. Empower. End exploitation.

Today we celebrate Stephanie and Davis Bacher with hearts full of gratitude and joy.

Stephanie and Davis have faithfully served through SWITCH’s Intervention Team, showing the love of Christ to some of the most vulnerable in our community. Their compassion, courage, and willingness to serve in hard places have made a lasting impact, and we are so thankful for the way they have been the hands and feet of Jesus.

As they step away from volunteer service and into this beautiful new season of welcoming a baby, we want to say thank you and congratulations!

Stephanie and Davis, we are so happy for you both and excited for this new chapter in your lives. We pray God’s richest blessings over your growing family and thank Him for the incredible light you have shared through your service.

Join us in thanking them and congratulating them!

Today we are honored to spotlight Davis Bacher, one of our SWITCH Intervention Team volunteers.

Our Intervention Team reaches some of the most vulnerable in our community by showing up with compassion, care packages, prayer, and the light of Christ. These volunteers step into places many people overlook, building relationships and offering hope to women working in the s*x industry, as well as others they encounter along the way.

Thank you, Davis, for serving with humility, courage, and compassion. Your willingness to show up helps remind others that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God.
