Such a fun and meaningful day at our monthly “Forever Young” Senior Adult meeting!
We loved seeing everyone who dressed up in their Halloween costumes—you all looked fantastic! We also want to give a huge thank you to Kathy Henderson for speaking to us about Operation Christmas Child. Her presentation gave us great ideas on how we can pack our shoeboxes to bless children across the globe this year.

How long have you served at FBCG?
8 1/2 years

What is your favorite Bible verse?
Proverbs 3:5-6

What is your favorite part of serving our church family?
Our church family has been a part of our lives through all of the major life events we have encountered. From the adoption and births of our children to losing loved ones and all the highs and lows in between, FBC has been a family to us and supported us at every turn. We thank God every day for our church family!

What is something people may not know about you?
Public speaking was always a huge fear of mine.

What is your favorite hobby?
I enjoy being outdoors, traveling with my family, weight lifting, and anything else that creates time with my wife and kids.

If you weren’t a pastor, what would you be doing?
I wanted to be a large animal veterinarian before I surrendered to ministry.

What’s one thing you could talk about for an hour with zero preparation?
I can’t imagine talking for an hour…well except for when I am preaching.

How long have you served at FBCG?
I’ve served FBCG for 1 whole worship service! -on September 27th when I was voted in as worship pastor. And I’m about to embark on serving a whole lot more beginning November 1!

What is your favorite Bible verse?
Philippians 4:8

“Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.”

What is your favorite part of serving our church family?
I love to do small favors, helping to lighten the burden, giving words of encouragement, and shining the love and light of Christ in their lives.

What is something people may not know about you?
I used to crochet a lot! Mostly blankets and knitted caps.

What is your favorite hobby?
cycling

If you weren’t a pastor, what would you be doing?
I would be a veterinarian.

What’s one thing you could talk about for an hour with zero preparation?
Again, cycling.

What is your favorite part of serving as children’s pastor? Seeing children grow in faith

What is one thing we may not know about you?
I galloped into my now wife’s yard on a horse, dressed as prince charming , dismounted, took a knee and asked her to marry me, in front of her entire family.

What are your favorite hobbies?
hunting, fishing, beekeeping

If you were not a pastor what would you be?
I would be training dogs.

What is one thing you could talk about for an hour with 0 preparation?
Turkey hunting

What is your favorite Bible verse?
Col 1:14-18: “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

What is your favorite thing about FBCF?
The loving people without a doubt. It has been a joy serving here.

What is your favorite hobby?
Fishing and or hunting.

What is something that not everybody knows about you?Linda and I have been brother and sister. My mom and Linda’s dad got married after the other spouses died.

If you weren’t a pastor what would you be?
If I wasn’t a pastor I would likely be a game warden or would work in car electronics.

What is something you could talk about for an hour with 0 prep?
With 0 preparation I could talk about the theology of worship and other worship related topics.
