USA defeats Australia 2-0 today!!

The love of the game starts early, and some of our USMNT players got their start just like us: throwing on an AYSO uniform to make friends and play the game!

AYSO is such an important component of youth soccer. With our everyone plays model, open registration, player development, positive coaching, balanced teams, and positive sportsmanship being the foundation of our programs, it's easy to feel supported and accepted so that our players can grow on and off the field.

To every kid playing grassroots soccer at AYSO: look up Cristian Roldan on the USMNT’s 26-player World Cup 2026 squad. ⚽️
Cristian was like you once: he was a kid playing soccer in his local AYSO Region AYSO Pico Rivera and falling in love with the game. Now, he captains the Seattle Sounders FC and has earned his place on the U.S. Soccer MNT World Cup roster for the second time.
Good luck, Cristian! You’re inspiring the next generation. 🇺🇸

14u fought hard in their URSL tournament, but ended with one tie and two losses. However, they let past less goals in both losses than they have in any regular-season game!

This URSL tournament officially wraps up the season for our 12u and 14u teams. We are SO proud of our players for all the hardwork they've put in this season.

Now it's time to sit back, watch the World Cup, and cheer on the U.S. Men's National Team. Did you know this is the FIRST time the World Cup has had a game played on U.S. Soil since 1994!? Talk about "no pressure".

12u did great at their first URSL tournament, winning two out of three games, and only letting one goal in for their loss on their last game!

14u starts their first game this afternoon! Kickoff is at 215 at Utica Park, Frederick, against Hagerstown Area Youth Soccer League AYSO Region 627 !

With the World Cup right in our backyard, it's important we keep cultivating the love of the game.

Someday, maybe we'll get to watch the journey of our youngest players turn into the stars they're watching play for their country this year.

Every World Cup player started somewhere, and for Haji Wright, it was on a grassroots AYSO soccer field at AYSO Region 19. ⚽️
Today, takes the pitch at SoFi Stadium as the U.S. Soccer MNT opens its World Cup run, proof that “Everyone Plays” can lead anywhere. Good luck, Haji, and to the entire USMNT! You’re inspiring the next generation of soccer players. 🇺🇸

It's tournament weekend! Come out and cheer on 12u and 14u as they participate in their first URSL tournament.

12u plays in the morning with 14u playing in the afternoon. Each team is guaranteed three games with the championship game being played on Sunday.

You can find the full schedule on the URSL website under "tournament." 12u is under 56 Spires and 14u is under 78-11 South.

Thats a wrap; here's to the end of the spring season!

We have seen SO much growth from our players at all age levels this spring and we couldn't have done it without YOU. Thank you to all of our coaches, referee's, players, parent helpers, line painters, and board members, and behind-the-scenes volunteers. Our programs run on the power of volunteerism; YOU are the back bone of our programs.

Thank you for loving the game and helping us pass it on to the next generation.

If you have a child aging out of our programs (fall 9th graders, looking at you) talk to them about becoming a Jr. Referee! Being a Jr. Referee helps grow their knowledge of the game while being a positive role model for our younger players, AND earns them community service/volunteer hours!

Registration for our UK International Soccer - Mid Atlantic and Southeast soccer camp is open along with Fall registration; we can't wait to see you!
