Happy Halloween and end of the regular season! As game play wraps up this weekend for 10u and below, we can't thank you enough for your time, dedication, and patience this season. Our volunteers and parents are what make our programs successful, and we couldn't have done this without any of you.

Shout out to the behind-the-scenes volunteers who keep our fields painted and our coaches in-check when juggling multiple schedules makes things a little harder.

To our players: THANK YOU for making this one of the most successful and interactive seasons of EPIC. Having Buddies in EPIC is an integral part of its program, and your teams showed up where it matters: building relationships and a love of the game.

JUST BECAUSE THE SEASON IS OVER DOESN'T MEAN THE FUN ENDS:
November 1st: Spring registration opens - HIGHSCHOOLERS, WE WANT YOU! We'll be offering a 7v7 Highschool league through URSL.
November 2nd - catch us in the Mercersburg Halloween Parade
November 21st - join us for the Greencastle Christmas Parade

REGISTRATION WILL OPEN FOR Spring 2027 ON NOVEMBER 1ST, 2026. REGISTER AT greencastleayso.com

Registration will run from November 1st, 2026 - February 28th, 2027.

Age divisions are determined by grade-year per USYS. Some players may see a movement down to a previous age division based on the grade-year format. We will not be accepting play down requests for any age division moving forward. However, you can still request your child to play up! Play-up requests must be approved by the board. You may still put in for a player or coach request. These requests must be approved by the board. Please send all requests to [email protected].

*If you have a child with a very late birthday that is in 8th grade, they can play with us! Our 5th/6th Grade, 7th/8th Grade, and Highschool teams play in URSL (Frederick, MD area), which has used the grade-year format exclusively. If they are in 8th grade this Spring, they can play with us at the 7th/8th grade level OR play up in our Highschool league (and tell their friends!!)
** The change to grade year does NOT affect EPIC. EPIC remains a profit and donation-based program for those with special needs/disabilities regardless of age.**

Early Bird Discounts:
$5 for Kickstart, PreK/Kindergarten (6u), and 1st/2nd Grade (8u).
$25 for 3rd/4th Grade (10u), 5th/6th Grade (12u), 7th/8th Grade (14u) and Highschool (Grades 9 – 12).
Early Bird Discounts end November 30th for all age divisions.

Late fee for all age divisions starts February 1st at $20 per player.

Our NEW program, KICKSTART, started this past fall. Kickstart focuses on play-based learning, fine and gross motor skill development, and social-emotional learning. Kickstart is a program for 3–6-year-old children to introduce them to the game at the most basic level of play: kicking the ball and scoring goals. Parents are highly encouraged to participate with their child in Kickstart. Kickstart meets once a week during the week for an hour, focusing on 40 minutes of skill development and 20 minutes of group gameplay. If you've done Soccer Shots in our area before, Kickstart is very similar!

This spring we are offering a 7v7 HIGHSCHOOL program. The United Rec Soccer League (URSL) offers a 7v7 league. Our high school program will consist of 6-8 weeks of game play traveling up to 1.5 hours away for away games. Our teams that are part of URSL play against Maryland-based club teams such as BUSA, MAYAA, Clear Spring Soccer Club, Catoctin Youth Association Soccer Club, and other AYSO programs such as Hagerstown and Boonsboro.

Cost breakdown for programs/age divisions:
EPIC- Special needs/disabilities, FREE - no age minimum/maximum
Kickstart, $60: ages 3-6 | 6u, $60: PreK/K | 8u, $60: 1st/2nd
10u, $85: 3rd/4th
12u, $100: 5th/6th | 14u, $100: 7th/8th
