Gulf Therapy Join the local paddle community for a dose of Gulf Therapy & embrace healing qualities of the Gulf! PLEASE LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE IF YOU NEED A RENTAL.

Join the local surf & paddle board community for a morning dose of "Gulf Therapy." Let's tackle mental health issues with a simple recipe - saltwater, sun and sand. Paddle out with the community and start the weekend off right. Salt water is always healing, therapeutic and the perfect solution for a balanced life. This paddle out will start at the Western Lake boat launch in Grayton Beach at the end of Hotz Avenue just past Banfill Road. We will launch the boards there then head over to the Gulf where the beach connects. This way you can get comfortable paddling in the Gulf with support from us or choose a mellow paddle in the lake. Trust me though playing in the waves or better yet catching one is the best feeling ever! If there are waves, you can also bring a surfboard. Hosted by Amanda Abbott and Adventure 30A. Gulf Therapy will be a monthly event the First and Third Friday of every month at 7am at Western Lake boat launch & the Gulf in Grayton Beach.

So this is pretty exciting! I went to the Top Producer Award Gala last night as I was nominated for Top Female Realtor and to my surprise, I had the honor of winning Top Non-Profit. I didn’t even realize this was a category and it was so special to be recognized for something so dear to my heart. Anytime there is a chance to spread the word for Gulf Therapy to a new crowd, I am thrilled. Thank you, Emerald Coast Real Producers.

The 6th Annual Paddle for Peace, benefiting local nonprofit Gulf Therapy, was one for the books. Led by founder Amanda Abbott, the event brought together 170 paddlers and raised over $27,000 for better mental health in our community.

This year was especially meaningful with a surfboard memorial honoring Zach Spears and so many others who left us too soon.

The community showed up in a BIG way with fresh food and juice, sound healing, four bands on the dock, an incredible raffle, and endless local support. We were even joined by a manatee and loggerhead sea turtle!

Us at Abbott Martin Group were beyond honored to be a sponsor at such an impactful event.
