🌊 Waves of Courage – Remembering Pat Harris 🌊

This February, during Waves of Courage Month, Tides of Grace is honoring individuals whose lives have been touched by cancer, those currently in the fight, survivors, and the loved ones we carry with us.

Today, we remember Pat Harris.

Pat bravely battled breast cancer, including recurrence, and gained her angel wings on June 24, 2023.

If anyone ever gracefully navigated breast cancer, it was Mrs. Pat Harris. After her diagnosis and recurrence, she continued to enjoy all of the things she loved most. Her family always came first, especially as she welcomed grandchildren and great grandchildren into her life. She was an active member of the community and enjoyed tennis, golf, and day trips, though she never liked to be far from home.

What is remembered most about Pat is her humor and courage. No matter what was ahead, she continued to thrive and enjoy life. Her faith played an integral part in her outlook. She taught those around her about strength, faith, joy, love, courage, and togetherness.

Pat’s love of God, family, and her undefeated sense of humor enabled her to fight year after year.

Pat is being honored by her family and friends, who continue her legacy through Pink for Patsy. Pink for Patsy was created to honor her life and to support breast cancer survivors. Each word in their logo reflects the legacy she leaves behind.

Join us once a month on the third Wednesday from 5:30–7:00 PM, for connection, support, and a light dinner together.

This group offers a caring space filled with strength, compassion, and hope - because no one should walk this journey alone. Whether you’re seeking support, offering encouragement, or simply wishing to connect with others who understand, you are welcome here.

Our first meeting of the month will be Wednesday, January 21 from 5:30–7:00 PM
