The Historical Society has received several photos of
S/Sgt. Brian Rogers, son of John and Zona Rogers of Oak Station at Big Bend.
We were asked to share these if there is any family who would be interested in having copies. S/Sgt Rogers was killed at The Battle of the Bulge in January 1945 and is buried in Epinal American Cemetery, France. Please reply to this message if you know of any one that might be interested.

New Fund Raiser!
The Calhoun Historical Society has
started a new fund-raising effort called
‘RAISE THE ROOF’ for the purpose
of installing a new roof on the museum.
The goal for this effort is $8,000. The
Parkersburg Area Community Foundation
has set aside a $1,500 grant, contingent on
the society raising the rest.
Contributions may be made to the Calhoun
Historical Society, P.O. Box 242,
Grantsville, WV 26147

Our museum is open every Friday from 11:00 until 2, usually 3:00. We love to have visitors and share our many treasures of Calhoun County hidden in the museum and in the Stump House hotel. This is your history! You might be surprised what you might discover 😊
