We have a few spots on our Byrd PTO board opening up for next school year. Please email [email protected] if you are interested in joining us. We would like to have all names by Tuesday, May 19th, so ballots can be ready for awards day, and our board can be in place to start planning the 2026-2027 school year.

We had some sweet treats and energy drinks for our Byrd staff today. Thanks to Smiles home bakery for the cookies. They were delicious!

After we celebrated our fifth graders, we got to continue celebrating our teachers. We shared muffins and biscuits with our teachers and staff to end out our week!! We hope they know how much we love and appreciate them all!

This morning, we celebrated our fifth grade Byrdies. Fifth Grade Breakfast is an event to celebrate our students before they leave elementary school. PTO makes picture gifts for the parents as well as goody bags for the fifth grade students. This year, we worked with Chick-fil-a Aiken to provide biscuits for our fifth graders and their parents. We didn’t get too many pictures during our event, so share your pictures with us here in the comments.

Thank you to all our parent volunteers who helped cover lunches for teachers today! We know they appreciated the break.

Thank you to Palmetto Smoke-House BBQ for coming out, so we could provide lunch for our Byrd teachers and staff. Everything was delicious!

In true Dolly style, we kicked up our boots and took out the dessert cart for our teachers today! We appreciate Byrd teachers and staff and enjoyed sharing these cute little treats with them.Are you team banana pudding or dirt dessert?
