A big thank you to our referees!

This weekend MSA had 39 games that needed officials and 24 refs showed up to cover them. We had some referees officiate 5 games well many officiated 3 or 4 games. We are thankful for their willingness to referee with MSA!

Part of the reason is our referee mentor program. We have a group of experienced refs who come out each week, are assigned to specific fields and talk with our officials before the game, at halftime, and after. Sometimes it’s about a call, sometimes positioning, and sometimes it’s just “you did fine, shake it off.” Newer refs especially need that.

Thanks to everyone who’s picked up games this fall, and to our mentors for giving us their Saturdays!

If you are interested in being an Indiana licensed soccer official, reach out and we can share with you the steps needed to get registered and licsend for our spring season!

MSA has three dedicated fields for our U8 division. Players can register for Recreational or Academy. All games are covered by referees (as much as possible) and we love to see them grow in skills and awareness of the game!

We wrapped up our second-to-last week of the fall season. The younger players are still having a blast, running every which way, and some of them eventually finding the back of the net. Halftime snacks, encouraging coaches, and time with friends keep making this a great MSA soccer experience.

Enjoy this last week of practice as we head into our final fall soccer Saturday.

We had a beautiful day for soccer this past Saturday. While it started off like a regular crisp fall morning, the sun came out and warmed the fields, the players, the referees and the fans, contributing to great soccer!

Thanks for all who came out to MSA Park! Only two weeks left for the season!
