Tonight, 6/23, Best Buddies Family Support (Eunie's Buddies) will host its next Connection Series: Dad to Dad.

Join Deitger De Maeseneer for a welcoming, safe space to discuss navigating parenting a child with IDD alongside your partner, kids, and broader social media networks, tonight from 8pm-9pm EST on Zoom.

Afterward, dads will have an opportunity to continue the conversations and connect one-on-one.

This fall, we're bringing the energy, excitement, and impact of Champion of the Year to communities across Ohio! Champion of the Year is a friendly fundraising competition that empowers local leaders to raise awareness and funds for inclusion of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

At Best Buddies, our mission begins with a commitment to building a global volunteer movement—and in Ohio, that mission comes to life through incredible volunteers like Caitlin Baine and Evan Koloski.

This year, Caitlin and Evan generously stepped into the spotlight as emcees for the Best Buddies Friendship Walk: Columbus. From celebrating award winners to keeping the program moving and the crowd energized, they brought enthusiasm, warmth, and true Best Buddies spirit to every moment of the day.

"Caitlin and Evan represent the very best of what it means to be involved with Best Buddies," said Catlin Skufca, State Director. "Their impact extends far beyond the Friendship Walk. Volunteers and members of Best Buddies Citizens in Southwest Ohio!

Please join us for Picnic in the Park at Rentschler Forest MetroPark on June 14th from 12 - 2pm! We will meet at the Cummins Shelter. The shelter is fully accessible with a concrete path from the parking area. Light refreshments will be provided, but feel free to bring your favorite summer picnic food! We will have games like can jam, co****le, cards, and more. Come ready to soak up the sun and meet some new friends!

We're excited to recognize Achieve Credit Union as one of our newest corporate partners and champions of inclusion in Northeast Ohio!

What started as their first experience with the Best Buddies Friendship Walk quickly grew into meaningful community engagement. Their team showed up in a big way—participating in the Walk, raising funds to support our mission, and even matching their employees' fundraising efforts through their Community Impact Program. They also joined us onsite with a community table, connecting with participants, families, and supporters throughout the day.

Their partnership is a wonderful example of how businesses can support inclusion beyond traditional sponsorships by engaging employees, investing in their communities, and building authentic connections.
