I will be the peace I want see in my community.

Holton Recreation Center is hosting our Annual Harvest Festival in collaboration with out First Annual Peace Festival. Our goal is to host a family fun event which promotes safety and peace in our community.

We will have a DJ, provide games, face painting, and giveaways.

Also we will provide Peace Pledges to be signed as well as Increase The Peace wristbands to community members; as a participating organization in Major Michael Coleman's initiative, Coalition for a Non-violent Columbus.

By taking this pledge we are holding ourselves and those in our community accountable for improving, protecting and bringing integrity back to the Westside. Violence has no residence in my community!

Think big, Dream big, Be big...it takes a village and we are all stronger in numbers. If our community pulled knowledge, know how and resources together our recreation centers could be much more successful. Holton is located in an urban community and in a somewhat obscure location, but that doesn't mean mediocrity should be it's fate. Holton has great management and staff that really care about growth and change and give their all, everyday to our youth. Holton also needs a community that cares, so, if you have any ideas as to how we can get more community participation and sponsorship feel free to reach out to us. [email protected] or use this page as a sounding board we are open to the exchange of ideas. http://www.lib.niu.edu/2001/ip010122.html

In November of 2000, the Bartlett Park District dedicated a 130,000-square-foot community center for its residents in which unsurpassed durability is integrated with functionality and flare. This multi-level, multi-generational recreation center is built in a welcoming neo-prairie type of architectu…

Good morning! The Holton CRC's main function is to raise funds for Holton Recreation. Without the proper funding your local community Rec centers CANNOT thrive and grow and be that place you want and trust your children to go. We also understand that not everyone has it to give, so your local grocer has created a way for you to giveback without affecting your budget.
