The Grand Prairie Arts Council (GPAC) was incorporated in January 1979 to operate as an umbrella organization to produce and promote the visual and performing arts in Grand Prairie, Texas. It is an independent non-profit tax-exempt cultural arts organization supported by funds received from memberships, donations, grants and projects. The Arts Council produces, presents, coordinates and funds a bo

dy of work that encompasses the principle arts disciplines and reflects the cultural diversity of our community. GPAC will seek the commitment and cooperation of government, business, educational institutions and other organizations and individuals in the areas of funding, facilities, program coordination and media support; and will provide youth programming that encourages future artists, audiences and leadership in the Arts community.

Don’t miss your chance to enter the GPAC Annual Juried Art Show! Artists can compete for up to $3,000 in prizes across six categories:

Submission Deadline: Midnight on Thursday, September 3
Entry Fee: $40 for up to three pieces within the same category
Artists may submit entries in multiple categories.

Accepted artists will be notified by midnight on Friday, September 4. Artwork must be dropped off at the Uptown Theater on Sunday, September 6, between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m.
