Welcome to the official Facebook of American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE), the world's largest organization of amusement ride enthusiasts. ACE was founded in 1978 as a not-for-profit, all volunteer organization to foster and promote the conservation, appreciation, knowledge and enjoyment of the art of the classic wooden roller coaster and the contemporary steel coaster. Our organization has grown fro

m a handful of members to over 7,000 members representing all 50 states, DC, and 12 countries. We publish a bimonthly online newsletter and a quarterly printed magazine for our members. ACE also hosts several events at parks each year, including Coaster Con, our annual convention -- an event that typically has a duration of six days and celebrates all things roller coaster -- there is truly no other event like it in the world! If you love the thrill of the twists, turns, drops and loops of a roller coaster, this organization (and this Facebook) is for you!

ACE is proud to announce two new preservation initiatives!

$25,000 has been granted to Wonderland Amusement Park in Amarillo, Texas towards continued preservation efforts of the Hornet, which previously operated at Boblo Island and Six Flags Astroworld. The Hornet is the only Vekoma MK-700 custom model running in the United States!

Later this year, Rodelbaan at Attractiepark de Waarbeek in the Netherlands will be designated as the newest ACE Roller Coaster Landmark! One of the world’s oldest operating steel coasters, Rodelbaan will receive its designation at Scarefest in October!

While there is plenty of fun to have at Coaster Con 48, we did get down to business this afternoon with ACE’s annual business meeting and bi-annual election platform speeches!

As a 501c3 Non-Profit, our all volunteer organization is run by the membership and for the membership. Everyone who makes ACE run, including the Executive Committee are volunteers!

During an election year, our membership gets to vote on the four elected positions!

Hundreds of attendees took time out of their day to listen, learn, and most importantly, ask questions of their officials and prospective officials!

ACE is excited to announce some future flagship events! 🚨

The 2027 ACE Spring Conference will be in New Jersey at Six Flags Great Adventure & Casino Pier May 21-23, 2027!

Then we will be hosted by Family Kingdom Amusement Park in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on August 7 & 8 for the 2027 Preservation Conference!

We are thrilled to announce that we are accepting the invitation for Coaster Con 50 to be hosted by Six Flags Fiesta Texas, SeaWorld San Antonio and COTALAND in June of 2028 to kick off a year long celebration of ACE’s 50th anniversary!
