This month serves as a time to raise awareness about human trafficking, educate the public on how to recognize signs of trafficking, and highlight efforts to combat it. Organizations, government agencies, and advocates use this month to push for stronger policies, provide resources for victims, and increase community involvement in preventing trafficking. The focus is often on both domestic and international trafficking, which affects men, women, and children across a range of industries, including s*x work, labor, and forced servitude.

It’s a reminder of the ongoing need for vigilance, education, and action to help end this serious issue.
