The Grand Junction RiverHawks Hockey Club extends our deepest condolences and heartfelt support to the California Santa Clarita Lady Flyers 12U AA girls team following the devastating accident on their way to a tournament in Denver, Colorado.

Our thoughts are with the players, coaches, families, and the entire Lady Flyers program during this incredibly difficult time. The hockey community is a close-knit family, and moments like this remind us how important it is to come together and support one another.

These families will be facing immense emotional, financial, and logistical challenges in the days and weeks ahead. If you are able, please consider donating to help support them during this time.

BACK AGAIN! Skatesgiving at River City Sportplex!!!

Burn Off All Those Thanksgiving Calories with River City Sportplex's Annual Turkey Burn Skating. For Kids and Adults!

Participate Thanksgiving Morning in our annual Skatesgiving Drop-In Event. All proceeds go directly to Grand Junction Hockey Club to help kids stay on the ice.

Here is a Breakdown of our Drop-In Skates:
Old, Slow, But Happy - meant for a slower, relaxed, adult hockey drop-in.

8u & Under, 9u-14u - These 2 Youth Divisions will play cross-ice at the same time with 2 different games going on at one time.

Fast Drop-In - meant for faster players that have played or play competitive hockey.

HS, HS Alumni & River Hawks Coaches - meant for our coaches and older players to come back together to play a fun drop-in.
