🎃 VOLUNTEER SCARERS WANTED! 👻
The Emmons Island Haunted Trail is back on Saturday, October 10th, 2026, and we’re looking for brave souls to help us bring the scares!

If you love Halloween and want to be part of the fun, here’s how to join in:
🕠 Show up by 5:30 PM the night of the event (Park On Site) — we’ll get you set up right away!
👻 Or stop by before the big day to pick out your scaring location.
🎭 We provide costumes and props — or you can bring your own spooky style!

This is your chance to help make the trail unforgettable and be part of one of Grand Isle’s favorite fall traditions.

🎃 Emmons Island Haunted Trail 2026! 👻
The screams return to Grand Isle this October!
Join us for another year of scares, laughs, and spooky fun at Vermont’s most haunted trail.

🕸️ Event Date: Saturday, October 10th, 2026
🕐 Times:
Kids Walk (Non‑Scary): 4:30 PM – 6 PM
Main Event (PG‑13): 6:30 PM – 10 PM

💀 Admission: $20 per person or 12 non‑perishable food items — all proceeds go to the local food shelf to help families in need.

We’re proud to keep this tradition alive and terrifying!

Our 2026 event night is set for October 10th, 2026 — 4:30pm to 10pm, and we have some important updates for everyone planning to attend. All proceeds and donated food go directly to Champlain Islands Food Shelf to support families in need. Please bring 12 non‑perishable items per person (no expired food) or $20 per person for entry.

🚍 Parking & Shuttle Info
This year, all guest parking will be at the Grand Isle School only.
We will be running two buses from the school to the Haunted Trail throughout the night.
Because parking is limited, we strongly encourage everyone to carpool to help reduce congestion and keep things moving smoothly.

🚫 Road Closure
The main road to the Emmons Island Haunted Trail will be closed to all guest traffic after 5pm.
Only buses and emergency vehicles will be allowed beyond that point.
There will be no onsite parking after 5pm (except for volunteers).
Please do not park on Route 2.

🌙 Appointment‑Only Preview Week
To help reduce crowding on event night, the trail will be open the week before October 10th for appointment‑only visits.
If you’d like a quieter, early walkthrough — or just want to avoid the big crowds — we hope you’ll take advantage of these appointment slots.🕸️ Let’s Make 2026 Amazing
