Over the past four years, Presley has worn many hats and has been a dedicated part of our team every step of the way. Today, she serves as our CASA Supervisor, where she continues to make a difference in the lives of children and families in our community.

We are incredibly thankful for her hard work, compassion, and commitment to our mission and the CASA program. Thank you, Presley, for all you do and happy 4 years! 💚

During National Police Week, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to the law enforcement officers who work tirelessly to protect and serve the children and families in our communities.

At Virginia’s House / Dr. Goodall’s House, we are incredibly thankful for the strong partnerships we share with the Stephens County Sheriff's Office, Breckenridge Police Department, Young County Sheriff's Office, Graham Police Department, and Olney Police Department.

Together, we work side by side to ensure that children are protected, families are supported, and justice is pursued with compassion and care.

This week, we delivered a few “tough cookies” as a small token of our appreciation for the difficult and often unseen work these agencies do every day.

Thank you for your commitment, your sacrifice, and your dedication to keeping our communities safe.💙🍪👮‍♂️👮‍♀️

Virginia’s House began with a heart for children and a desire to make a difference.

In 1992, local leaders recognized the need for a child-focused response to abuse and violence affecting families in our area. They came together to create a place where children could find support, advocacy, and healing.

Our “why” continues to be the children and families we serve each day. Every conversation, every service, and every program is rooted in the belief that children deserve to feel safe, valued, and heard.

We are honored to continue the work that began over three decades ago and grateful for a community that stands beside us in protecting children.

We want to give a huge shoutout and THANK YOU to J Appleseed for donating beautiful plants & flowers to fill our front porch flower pots, and to J & N Feed & Seed for donating the mulch to fill our flower beds.

We are so thankful for local businesses like yours that support our mission and help make our space feel warm and welcoming for the children and families we serve. 💙

As we come to the close of Child Abuse Awareness & Prevention Month, we want to take a moment to say thank you. 💙

Our very first Planting Hope Pinwheel Garden initiative was made possible because of the incredible support from our communities. Local businesses and community members chose to stand with us, speak up, and plant hope, showing that our children are seen, valued, and worth protecting.

Because of you, our communities were filled with a visible reminder that every child deserves a safe, supported, and healthy childhood.

While April shines a light on awareness, we know this work does not begin or end with a single month. Protecting children, supporting families, and showing up for one another is something we carry with us every single day. 🧡💚

We are deeply grateful for each of you who participated:
