Gordon Area Food Shelf is open every Wednesday 9-Noon AND is now open the last Wednesday of the month 4-6:30pm. We have added the evening hours so our working neighbors can visit the food shelf after work. Please stop by and check out the food shelf behind the Gordon Town Hall. Gordon Area Food Shelf is proud to partner with Second Harvest Northland to help ensure children have enough food to lead healthy and active lives.!

1 in 5 of our NE Minnesota and NW Wisconsin children are food insecure, meaning they don't have enough food to lead a healthy and active life.

Your volunteer support helps us mobilize easy-to-open, easy-to-prepare weekend food for children in over 50 schools and 29 communities as part of our BackPack Program.🎒

The Gordon Area Food Shelf serves residents of Southern Douglas County in need of extra food to get through the month. Located behind the Gordon Town Hall, the food shelf is open every Wednesday, 9-Noon and on the last Wednesday of the month from 4-6:30pm - perfect for after-work shoppers!

Our food allocations are based on the size of your household and you are able to select the foods you want. We regularly offer a variety of frozen meats, canned soups, fruits and vegetables, cereals, pasta and rice, packaged foods, condiments, baking items and personal care products. Other choices vary each week and may include snacks, frozen desserts, bakery items, and dairy.

We are a nonprofit food shelf and receive no state or federal funding. We are not connected to any religious, social, or political organization. We gratefully accept financial donations and welcome donations of canned and packaged foods, produce from your garden, pet food and personal hygiene, paper and cleaning products.

Many in our community rely on food pantries. We learned of one closing however, we wanted to share what's happening with Northwest Wisconsin Community Services Agency, Inc. at 1118 Tower ave. in the !

NWCSA has been an incredible resource in our community, including a food pantry for nearly 60 years!

We reached out to Millie this morning who was happy to share they are changing/expanding hours to accommodate those from Faith United.

Pantry hours are now Tuesday 1-5 and Thursday 9-11:30.

If you are in need of support, feel free to visit or give them a call.
NWCSA will always accept volunteers and donations, so please keep them in mind.
