Attention-LOWER EAU CLAIRE

It's time to tackle the Curly-leaf Pondweed population in Lower Eau Claire Lake. This year a second diver assisted suction harvester, lovingly referred to as BAISS II (Barnes Aquatic Invasive Species Sucker) will make its maiden voyage on Lower Eau Claire Lake.

We need property owners on Lower Eau Claire Lake, Cranberry Lake, and Eau Claire River to take notice. We need Volunteers. Divers cannot operate the suction harvester without volunteers on board.

Remember, for every shift completed, volunteers will receive a ticket into a drawing at the end of the season.

Please take note of the schedule below.

SEE MAPS.
Please note the red areas on the map images showing the known locations of CLP. Please try to avoid these areas and stop the spread of invasive species.

Just a reminder folks….

Quick reminder going into the busy weekend regarding the pontoon trailers:

The trailers are owned by the Eau Claire Lakes Conservation Club, and all rental money goes directly back to the club. We are simply the pickup/drop-off location & collect the money for the club.

Please remember:
▪️We cannot reserve or hold trailers
▪️We cannot guarantee availability
▪️We do not know when a trailer will be returned
▪️Trailers are strictly first come, first serve
▪️We cannot back up the trailers for you

Our bartenders and staff are also unable to leave during busy shifts to check availability. If a trailer is in the lot, it’s available. If it’s gone, it’s being used. The club is graciously providing trailers for public use and our staff is taking time to answer your questions, so let’s remember to be friendly! 😊
