As a youth leader, you know a summer Service Trip is about more than getting students out of town. It’s about giving them space to serve, build relationships, step outside their usual circles, and experience faith in a different way.

So if you’re planning your summer, consider this your sign to start the conversation with your students.

Their summer could look like this.

Sometimes the most meaningful moments are the ones where we slow down, listen, and make space for someone else’s story.

Service has a way of bringing people together who might not have crossed paths otherwise. Different backgrounds, different perspectives, different stories, sitting alongside one another and finding common ground.

Because relationships can change the way we see each other, our faith, and the world around us.

What if this was your summer?

New places. New people. Meaningful work. Lots of laughs and moments you’ll still be talking about when summer is over.

A Youthworks Service Trip is more than a week away. It’s a chance to step outside your everyday, serve alongside others, and come home with stories you didn’t expect to make.

Your summer 2027 could look a little different. And that might be a good thing.

Sometimes the most meaningful part of a service trip isn’t the work you came to do.

It’s the conversation you didn’t expect.

The person you met who saw the world differently.

The story you heard that stayed with you long after you went home.

Maybe serving is about more than showing up for a community. Maybe it’s about being willing to listen, learn, and let the people you meet change the way you see things.

We want to hear from the YOU!

If you’ve been on a Youthworks trip, tell us:

What trip did you go on?
What year did you go?
What was the most impactful moment?

We’d love to hear the story that stayed with you.

Your experience might be exactly what inspires someone else to say yes to their first Youthworks trip 👏
