There’s something special about being in a room full of EMS providers who genuinely want to make care better for every patient they meet. ❤️🚑

Last night, we were honored to spend time with the teams from Melrose Area Ambulance and Sauk Centre Ambulance as they joined the Bit of Grace family.

Every conversation, every question, and every shared experience reinforced the same thing — compassionate care matters. Especially in moments of fear, overload, and crisis.

We are incredibly grateful to partner with agencies that continue working to ensure individuals with autism and sensory needs feel seen, supported, and understood when it matters most.

Welcome to the family. 💙

Back on the road tonight for another “Born to Stand Out” presentation and kit distribution. ❤️

Another evening focused on helping first responders and healthcare providers better understand, support, and communicate with autistic individuals when moments are at their hardest.

Any guesses where we’re headed tonight? 👀🚗

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Bit of Grace 💙

Today, we celebrate the moms who love fiercely, advocate endlessly, and show up day after day with patience, strength, and compassion — even on the hard days.

To the moms raising children with unique needs, navigating uncertainty, celebrating milestones that others may never fully see, and giving so much of themselves along the way — we see you. Your love makes a difference every single day.

Thank you for all the ways you create comfort, calm, safety, and grace for the people around you.

Happy Mother’s Day. 💐

Grateful to be able to partner with these two amazing organizations!

Park Rapids and Walker area ambulances and the CHI St. Joseph's Health emergency room will be equipped with sensory stimulation kits, hoping to make them more comfortable accessing health care.

💙 Cosmos, you just raised the bar. 💙

We’re proud to welcome Cosmos Fire & Ambulance Department to the Bit of Grace family.

First responders are trained to handle difficult situations. It’s what they do every day. But not every emergency looks the same — and not every patient responds the same way.

For individuals with sensory sensitivities, an emergency can be overwhelming, making communication harder right when it matters most.

That’s why this matters.

Sensory Emergency Kits aren’t just extra equipment. They’re a way to slow things down, reduce fear, and create connection in the middle of chaos.

Because the goal isn’t just to respond.
It’s to reach people.

To the teams in Cosmos — this speaks volumes about how you serve. You saw a need, and you acted.

And that matters more than you know.

We’re glad you’re here. 💙

We’re excited to welcome the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office to the Bit of Grace family!

Through their School Resource Officer at Clearview Elementary School, they’re making a difference every day—building relationships, creating trust, and showing up for students when it matters most.

We’re grateful for their partnership and their commitment to ensuring every child is seen, heard, valued, and understood. 💙

Excited to see CHI St. Joseph's Health and North Country Community Health Services launching this program and putting these kits into action.

This is exactly why we do what we do—helping first responders and healthcare teams create calmer, more connected moments.

Grateful for the partnership and the shared commitment to making sure every patient is seen, heard, valued, and understood.

April is Autism Acceptance Month, and today, on World Autism Awareness Day, we pause to recognize something that truly matters.

People.

Individuals with autism experience the world in beautifully different ways. Different ways of communicating. Different ways of processing. Different ways of connecting.

And those differences aren’t something to fix—they’re something to understand.

Because behind every diagnosis is a person with their own strengths, challenges, personality, and story.

Acceptance looks like patience in moments that feel overwhelming.
It looks like listening without expectation. It looks like creating space where someone can feel safe being exactly who they are.

Some of the most meaningful moments don’t come from big gestures—they come from simply meeting someone where they are, with respect and compassion.

Today—and every day—we choose to see the individual, not just the diagnosis.

And when we do that, we create a world that feels a little more understanding… and a lot more human.

Welcome to the family, Meeker Memorial Hospital! 💙

We are incredibly excited to welcome Meeker Memorial Hospital to the Bit of Grace family!

When hospitals choose to invest in tools that help patients feel understood, safe, and supported during emergencies, it speaks volumes. Sensory Emergency Kits aren’t just backpacks — they’re bridges. They create calm in chaos. They give first responders and healthcare teams another way to connect when words are hard.

Because of partnerships like this, more individuals and families will experience compassionate, prepared, and thoughtful care when they need it most.

The ripple keeps growing. And we are so grateful. 💙
